Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I picked up three new hognose from a local. Two albinos and one normal. Thoughts on sex? Thoughts in general? I just love these guys!

I *think* I know the sexes, but I want to see if I'm right without bias.

Congrats! They're a really fun species.
 
Agree except they are easy eaters -until they aren't! Seriously, most do great, but the babies are no corns or getula kings. Males can go off feed at times too, but one of the girls is always in the mood to eat when the boys aren't!
 
I agree with Chip. My males tend to go off feed for no reason. Mind you they hold weight during this time. My females on the other hand dont skip a meal for me (sometimes they may during a shed). Not sure if that is common but they are super feeders.
 
Thanks! It's a nice little trio, I'm proud of them. Hmmm...so far no one has ever turned down a meal. I have 3 males and 4 females. Hungry, hungry hognose!
