• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A good friend of mine got me a great deal on these two girls this weekend. I'm excited! :D

850g "Paradox" Spider

The Spider's in shed right now and her photos are awful, but I'm excited to see how yellow the "paradox" section is. It does wrap the whole way around her middle, almost like someone cut a section out of a Bee and stuck it in there.

What is the spider from? Was it from a bee clutch? I am curious wondering if possibly it is a chimera or just a neat oddity.

I honestly don't know. The original owner didn't have much information to provide. I'm guessing he wasn't one of us who acts 20 questions before we buy! :D

As soon as she sheds I'll post more pics so you can see it better. It's pretty cool. The OCD in me is bothered by it...But the attraction to odd things is enchanted by her! :)

Still waiting (impatiently) for her to shed out. I'm not saying she for sure is a paradox, just that's what it looks like first impression. I've read of boas losing scale color because of poor diet (she's not as plump as I keep my own snakes), so their is the possibility it's that. We'll just have to see as the months go by. :)

She's finally shed and I'm absolutely tickled! :)

She also has the splotches of bright color on her head and neck. It's also apparent that she does in fact have rat bites on a few places on her spine.
