Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK I was shortly on the other site. Well the ad spot that appears above the forum advertised a new leo book. "The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos"
Looks really interesting. Does anyone here know the link to the book or the publisher? Or has anyone heard anything about this book? I did get this info. It's being released on July 31st and is published by Advanced Visions.(could not find thier site, dumb dial-up) :rolleyes:

Ron Tremper is the publisher I think he did write it with 2-3 others do, he has told me that it has over 300 pages and over 200 pics....
 
Try giantgeckos.com or Ron Trempers site.I should have a few copys for sale at the end of July.Some will love it some will hate it.I have only seen raw copys,not in book format.I think it will be good.

You'll have to let us know when you get copies. I'm interested in getting this book. I found out it will have 250 pages. It looks like the price is around $30 or something. Do you have any idea what the price will be?

Ron Tremper told me just over 300 pages and cost 39.95
 
I just hope there is no misleading information or wrong information in a book this expensive. The same as I would expect from any reptile book this expensive.

Can't say that I am all that excited. Genetics I can reference my old college texts, pictures are everywhere. I am sure there are some interesting passages and sections.... for that much cash... crap I can outfit a tank for the cresties I am thinking of getting. I will wait for reviews from you guys before condeming it, however.
