    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just received a new male, he was in great health and a bit dark. Im sure he is dark from the trip but thats not the issue. I attempted to pair him up with a female and she wasnt having it at all. She became real flat and her beard became black. Now i know that is signs of being non-receptive, but will this change? If they dont like him right away is that how it will be in the future? The female laid eggs a month ago and gained all the weight back already. Can she be retaining sperm and already be gravid as the reasoning? I also bought her when she was 9 months while she was paired up with a male. Dont know if that means anything.........

Any suggestions or tips are welcome!!!!

Should I already look for a better suiter?????????????

First off this is the same female that you got 1 month ago and she layed eggs and you agreed that she was too young. See your post below........

I agree with you on her being way to young to have breed. Do you think I should complain to the shop where i bought her? The weight gain program is a must and will start as soon as she is ready again

Do you think 1 month later she is old enough???? I think not........... The last thing you need to be doing is trying to pair her up with a male.
Now if she reatined sperm and is going to lay another clutch you can't do anything about that. But pairing her up with a male at 10.5 months you can do something about.

Quite simply don't do it. You are putting that too of a young female at risk.

not to mention you didn't quarantine the male, how soon out of the box did you introduce him to your female? I also think that the female is still too young to be introduced to another male for breeding purposes.

I in no way mean to beat up on you Chris and scare you away from asking any questions you have. My main concern is for the safety of the dragons you have. Breeding a female too young can lead to many problems.

A 30 day quarantine is also vital to keep your animals healthy.

I was just a bit taken back on seeing those 2 posts referring to the same female.
