See me as a court jester
Got this guy in a local trade and decided to try and take some pics that would do him justice, but of course its a nasty, cloudy, rainy day. So I just did the best I could!
Her heads a lil dark to be honest, but looks like shed still has nice colors to compliment a Vanilla breeding. I just wish I can find a few like her a Vanilla in person is waaayyy better than any pic Ive seen. Maybe if ur around for the NRBE I can bring him by my buddies booth and let u check him out. Im always down to show off my snakes!
Im looking for a fire female myself. Actually I would really like a female firefly, but I doubt Im gonna find one near breeding size at the price I want. But yea a vanilla or a fire is what id throw to ur girl. Itll be nice to see what happens!
But im really picky about my pastel genes.
Yeah, I don't think it matters what you mix with them. Pastels need to be from a good line. I've got a couple of clutches on the way from a gorgeous male pastel. I don't know what line he's from, but I bought him as an adult with better color than any babies that I hatched last year. I bred him for the first time this season and hoping that his offspring are as gorgeous as he is! As an '07 at over 1000 grams, he has yet to brown-out and remains a nice, vibrant yellow!
Here are some pics of my Blonde Pastel. She is 1740grams and still bright yellow with a touch of brown on the back. The pics don't show how bright she really is in person, but it gives you an idea.
Well since you asked that, you must know that he's in full-shed!! lol I'll take some as soon as he sheds. Hopefully it'll be warm enough then to get some outdoor pics. Natural light just works so much better...especially with my crappy camera!
I love using natural light for my pics. I wish I could put them on the ground outside but I've seen mites that would fall outta moss in my front yard, so I dont even think about it. But just pos them up here when shes ready!
