    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm Freeway.. i have 3 beardies, two male one female (i believe my female may be a runt as she is super small for her age) and i continually find good information in these forums.

Hi again, and thanks for the welcome.
regarding my name..
i was taught to drive a tractor/bailer/wagon in 6th grade, in 8th grade my grandfather taught me how to drive his semi trailer and let me drive it on a run from Dallas to Lubbock, then i graduated to a normal vehicle (car) and any chance i got you could find me somewhere on the highway headed towards adjacent states "just for the drive". In 1992 on a non-direct route from Chicago to Tucson i met some folks at a rest stop in Mississippi. When I arrived in Tucson a month later I ran into those same folks who began introducing me as Freeway to everyone. It stuck, and even my employers wrote my checks out to Freeway. Eventually this became a bit troublesome with the govt. paperwork and I finally had it changed by a judge as my birth name had not seen the light of day in 10 yrs. and my family were the only ones who seemed to use it. And it has been thus ever since…
One of my old employers even referred to my then 4 yr. old as Offramp instead of her actual name. Seemed fitting.
Nothing spectacular like being born on the side of the freeway.. sorry.
