    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hey all i am new at this but would love to go out and find a smooth green snake, kings or what ever else i can go and see around here and was wondering if you can give me any advise. yes i do know to watch out for rattlers, i have lived here my whole life. thank you for your time and help.

The only smooth green snake I have ever seen have been from up north in Pa.,when I used to live there and collect. Not sure if you guys have them out there?? This time of year early mornings look for stuff baskin, up until it starts to get hot. After a good rain is good it will get stuff moving and an hour or so before dark until 10-11p.m. you should be able to find stuff roadcruising. Lizards during the day can be a pain in the butt. If you start just before daylight go out and find places where you can go flippin trash or rocks,just becareful where you put your fingers when flippin.Good luck and have fun and always be safe in the field.

Just be careful. I don't go field collecting, but I know there are some beauties out there. If you catch something please show pics!

went out once

went out one time but had no luck. i don't even have a pic of a rattler to post but heard of a good spot, just waiting for my son to be born then i will go and check it out.
