    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Been a while since I've added a new moderator to this site. But I've been watching how Robert Walker has handled himself here and, well, I think he would be an even better and more effective asset wearing the moderator hat. So I asked him to join the moderation team, and didn't give him too much time to think about it before he would realize what a pain in the ass the job can be sometimes.... :D So he foolishly accepted, and the deal is signed, sealed and delivered, and I hid the contract.

So, don't be surprised if he has to address you as a representative of management of this site. And try not to give him a reason for regretting his decision.

I've done some foolish stuff in life, time will tell if this becomes one of them;)

Hmm, this is dangerous stuff to think about. Severe brain damage could result from the mental visuals that statement could invoke. :ack2:

But heck, if I knew this sort of thing was going to be suggested to become a requirement of being a moderator, I would have an all female cast here. And of course the photos would all have to be taken by yours truly..... ;)

Of course, finding 12 photogenic, snake friendly, moderator capable females with their names matching a month (at least we already would have the month of April covered) would likely be a daunting challenge.

It would be so easy to send this spiralling in a direction it shouldn't go... but Robert doesn't deserve to be the first mod to have his announcement thread relocated to HELL; so I'll just reiterate what I said privately - Welcome Aboard!
