    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

im offered this ball python for $200. never seen one. should i take it?

Ok.. I would suggest this.. noting the colour on the spine, it looks exactly like what mine looked like after it lost it's pigmentation (assumed due to food reasons)

Get photos if it from when it was young.. From that photo.. I do not think that is the "actual" colour of the snake.

but.. start with photos.. if it still looks like that as a juvenile.. then yes, would be worth the money as a dinker project.

I'd take it in a heart beat IF it was close enough that I could pick it up in person. Nice find! :thumbsup:

Please update if you decide to get him/her!

Is this a ball python, as in 100% BP? Or is it a hybrid? I can't see enough to be sure, but those markings are certainly unusual...to say the least.

Any updates? Did you get it? If so would you post a couple pics of it? It has an appearance of my fires with the light mickey mouse on the head, but it has deffinetly some different markings on it. I would snatch it up and breed it to a normal to see what comes of it. Always fun to play with Dinkers.

I think I have this one figured out. It could possibly be an IMG (increased melanin gene) ball python. They start out axanthic looking and start gaining dark granite-like speckling along with increased darker blushing as they age. Just a guess, but that's what I think is going on here.
