In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Three new great shows coming here to Pennsylvania and I'm excited! :D Finally one of the the Hamburg show promoters decided to ditch the dark, filthy, crowded Hamburg Fieldhouse! No more waiting outside in crappy weather...No more crowded aisles...No more vendors up each other's butts...No more fighting for parking (or paying parking tickets!)...No more bathrooms that you have to hike up your jeans and stand to pee in (yeah, yeah...guys already stand to pee!)...Now we have bright, beautiful, clean convention centers with plenty of room! Whooo!

Site's still the same...NorthernBerksReptileShow.com...Don't know if Marty plans on changing it, but all the info is right there for vendors and show-goers alike!

So, what does everyone else think? I'm excited, if you can't tell (Hah!). I hope this goes well and meets all of my expectations.

I have been going to the Hamburg show since at least 1997 and it has turned into an overcrowded fire hazard waiting to happen. These last few times I was almost irate at the waiting in line and the overall sense of claustrophobia while all the noobs and impulse buyers swarmed around. The addition of these new venues is much welcomed and I look forward to attending.

I completely agree!
I can't wait. I'll finally get to vend!
I was only able to fit in 1 Hamburg show in 2009.
The other Hamburg show has been so fully booked that I couldn't possibly get in as a vendor.

I welcome the venue change, as well...but not the increase in drive time, lol.

I to welcome the change in venue. It has been long overdue, for both vendors and buyers alike. The conditions over the years have become way to crowded, and unsafe. Not only as a fire hazard, but for vendors and buyers where the venomous section is easily accessible and reachable to small children in a crowded environment.

I look forward to this new venue and all it has to offer.

Yeah, every one of the new venue's is an increase in distance for me too, but it's not too bad...at least I'll be able to set up as a vendor now...& hopefully move some of my excess...product...

I dont even care about the difference in drive time, it will be worth it. I mean look at it like this, All current Hamburg vendors + new vendors (on waiting list that couldnt get in before) + new venue = Killer Show.

Hamburg has been one of the only constant consistent growing shows in the tri-state area, and this new venue will only enable it to continue to grow (without ever outgrowing this venue) and give it the capabilities of possibly becoming the areas first true super-show.

I am very anxious and excited to be able to vend at the new locations! I already signed up for the Jan show in Reading!! :D
Anxious to meet some of you up there!

Hi everyone. Yes, the venue change is long overdue. How nice will it be to not have to worry about your car being ticketed and/or towed? (My car was almost towed at the last show!) How nice will it be to not have to push your way thorough crowded aisles against sweaty people just to get in and/or to another table? How nice will it be to have AIR CONDITIONING?!?!?!?!? How nice will it be to have a CLEAN place to visit and buy reptiles? I can tell you how nice it will be... but I'd rather hear it from all of you! :)

Man, I know there are alot more vendors and buyers that attend Hamburg and get on Fauna. Where are all the shout outs here, support for this show. Who plans on attending?

I will always be there lol. I rely solely on the show for feeders and supplies. Two of these new venues are actually closer to me now. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pumped haha.

i am going to be attending the show and have spoke to marty about it, he is hoping for a big ass turn out, which is always good for a new show. he said that there will be alot of the same faces from hamburg and then the obvious new ones that could never get it, lets hope it is successful

it would be helpfull also to list vendors who will be selling venomous for each show(confirmed),the listing of vendors on the main site is just a general list as I know several venomous dealers who are not attending, but are on the vendor list..the only reason this would be helpful is alot of people(including myself) only attend hamburg and make the long trek for venomous..I rarely even go past the last 2-3 aisles and to make a 5hr+ drive I would not risk dissappointment of showing up at a new show and only seeing a few venomous vendors there and would probably keep me and others who travel distances to make a trip again.I am not saying this to be negative, but rather if it was able to be established of how many or whom will be there selling would probably bring you more traffic from that side of things.

I believe the list of vendors is an old list. Not for the current shows that are listed.

The vendor list is modified on almost a weekly basis. It's pretty accurate. I'll pass on the suggestion however. Thanks for the feedback.

I meant in relation to the show, sorry. I didn't finish my thought before clicking submit. I'm working and my mind's elsewhere. I was confused by the "we" reference (as Marty is the only one I was aware of in charge of the show) and I asked a few others and they had no clue either. ;)

I knew what you meant. ;)

Yes, it's Marty's show but I'm doing the website, facebook site as well as some other behind the scenes stuff.

I can tell you this, I'm really glad the show is out of the fieldhouse. I personally disliked that room as well as the people that owned it. They were very rude to me and even threatened to tow my truck! Yes, I was parked in front of a fire hydrant, but it was hidden in the weeds and it was about 32 different colors where the rust wasn't covering it, so I didn't see it and I dare anyone else try to find it. It's the best kept secret on the property! lol!

The thing I'm most happy about with the new locations is the climate control. While we were searching for new venues, I told him how important it is to have the air conditioned. Even in the winter the fieldhouse can become a sweat-house. It's just not a nice experience. I look forward to these upcoming shows and I encourage everyone to support it. It's a huge upgrade and I applaud Marty for taking this step. :)
