In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This person is posting ads right now on Reptimart for get this "we have some rare odd ball python.
they were found by our collectors last weekend and they are in good health.
1.4 plain white pythons
2.2 with black mix colour at the back
3.another strange 4 with some patchy hair at the back.
we are of the opinion that these strange snakes must have come from the same source. they are found within 200meters from each other.
please, contact me if you can identify them or interested in buying them outrightly

Here is a screen shot of the ad. This person is also advertising numerous LIzard species that are banned from Export. This person is a definite scammer and should be avoided.

Hairy ball pythons, huh? Well I'll just BET they were all found within 200 meters of each other, and within 200 meters of either an LSD vendor or an empty case of Everclear LOL.......(or hopefully NOT an abandoned nuclear power site).....
I'm keepin' an eye on this deal and watching to see if'n anyone actually BUYS these little treasures.......

I requested pics of the snakes from him.
Let's see if he can produce any.

Hairy Balls

So just how much do you think somebody might pay for a pair of hairy balls, anyway? Interesting that the hair apparently grew in kinda patchy...

Now THAT would be worth paying for, seeing them hairy balls give birth, instead of just lying around in front of the TV digesting their meals........:D

Hairy Balls

How many pages of jokes do you think we can generate from one ad containing the words "hairy balls" and "python"?

Hmmm, I would think a lot would depend on exactly what kind of pics Steve J. gets (and forwards to us of course) following his pic request to the vendor today......

This person had approached me before about wanting me to import from him. I have sent a request for pictures as well so we will see if he sends pics to anyone. I told him to send pics of them all as I would be interested in purchasing all of them. Now time will tell.

Isn’t it possible that his ad is just making fun of other sellers that make-up names for slightly different but yet normal ball pythons?

Regards.

Alvaro no.

This is a scammer abroad.
He is asking for money for his hairy balls.....in hopes of getting some schmuck here in the states interested.
Ones the schmuck is interesated and sends money........he will just disappear.

I belive this same schmuck...maybe another one......was also asking me to import FROM them.

you know how hard it will be to collect your money back from over seas?

This is a scammer praying on the greedy and idiotic

Maybe so, but if it is an attempt to scam is the dumbest I have ever seen. The Nigerian's seem to be written by Einstein by comparison. Not even a kid would fall for that.

Regards.

After being on my feet all day pimping snakes for a living, it is so nice to sit down with my tea, open up this page, and just laugh my ass off for several minutes. Hairy balls indeed. Rob, thank you for making my day, as many of you do day in and day out here on the BOI. I'm still laughing. I really need a vacation I guess. Keep us posted please. Take care

POOR GUY

Arn'te you guys being a little hard on this guy? I mean where could you get three hairy balls at one place? He might even cut you a deal and if you buy two hairy balls you might get the third hairy ball for free!
Now if you cross out those hairy balls with the plain white balls, you could get "plain white hairy balls"...Not if you then take those "plain white hairy balls" and cross them with those others, you could produce some "plain white hairy black back balls"
Now thats a mouth full!:D

Here's the repsonse I got when I asked for pictures.

hoe'd they miss the obvious?

This scammer has white balls, black balls and even hairy balls...but how in the world did they miss the more obvious ones? Where are the green balls? Noticed that there are no Spider balls...guess he didn't have the right collecting equipment for finding them. How about those blushing balls? Surely this guy has some granite balls ... seeing as how his seem to be made of stone or steel. Are we sure that this a**clown isn't holding onto his own clown balls for future selective breedings? I'd almost bet that if asked, these snakes are quite large in size as scammers never seem to have just normal balls...they're always something special. Reminds me of my years teaching and listening to teenage boys who are always bragging about their own supposed virility...nothing is ever normal and they've all got the biggest and best. Just once I'd like to hear a scammer (or teenage boy for that matter) try to pass off the normal stuff as all that they have.

I can't believe that the bank the cashier's check is written on isn't going to do anything. Seems tantamount to saying that they'd have to honor it if pesented. Either way, I'd be sure to contact you local FBI office so that they can at least be aware that you possess the rotten thing and also make them aware of the bank's response. While the bank may have no intention of doing anything, the government may be working on it and quietly applying pressure on the other government to get this behavior stopped.
