    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hi for everyone who hates those inconsiderite people who make fun and critisize your posts, ads, ect.......here are some other good sites to try out and there people cant post replies to your ads and u will be better off here they are:

Chameleonman, If I am correct on the thread that you are refering to about inconsiderate people.Let me just say this. Those "inconsiderate" people are trying to protect our beloved hobby and to try and help someone out. All they did was ask questions about a specific thing and if I understood that thread correctly, the guy they were talking to is the one that was being inconsiderate first. Believe me your post on that thread did not make matters any better. Please tell me how these people were being inconsiderate. I thought that they were trying to help a fellow herper and protect our hobby from those that abuse it.

By the way, if all these people are inconsiderate then why did you bother coming back to his site. I mean gee, if I thought people were being inconsiderate on a site that I visited. I would not go back.

I hope this thread does not get deleted. I thin it will do more good then bad.

Hey drizzt that is the right thread...but it looks like he was able to delete his stuff before I could lock the thread down. But luckily I was able to copy at least one of his sons' (the Genious) insane ramblings. But as aforementioned. If he is the genious of our future.....someone just point a gun at my head now.

I remember that post about his son having an I.Q. of 127. I was gonna post a reply today but it was locked down. Anyway, last time I took an I.Q. test my I.Q. was 135. Last time I checked an I.Q. of 120-130 was average,so you don't have to kill your self over a "genius".

A little off topic but if you want to check your I.Q. go to this site .

For those who haven't seen the thread before it was pruned... yours truly is that "rude, inconsiderate person" to whom the original poster made reference.

It seems that neither he nor his son read the "First rule of business" thread. Neither one is particularly adept at write clear, concise, or complete sentences. Punctuation, capitalization, and word usage don't seem to be their friends either. Rational, valid arguments seem to have gone out the window as well.

my understanding is 110 is average, 130 above average, 150 bordering on genius (any higher than that requires specialized testing beyond standardized tests)

That reminds me: I never bothered to go for the additional testing, oh well. I guess my IQ will remain unknown :D


As for the emode test, I tend to think it is biased in favor of producing a fairly uniform score. I know what I scored on there and what some friends scored, in comparison to other, school sponsored, standardized tests which showed a significant gap.


I'm too burned out for this form of debate though.... and I'm only 21 :(

Like I should really care that someone might want to post their FREE ads somewhere else? The only one of those classified links that will get you more traffic for your ad is KINGSNAKE, but you have to pay for that one.

All I can say is 'more power to you, Bub.'

I put the capability for people to reply to posted ads for a reason. Without it, no one could warn a viewer that might be a prospective customer that the seller might not be on the up and up.

If you can't stand that kind of heat, stay out of the kitchen.
 
As far as IQ, 100-110 is average, 120-130 is above average, 140 and up is genious, at least that is the way it was when I was a child. There also seems to be a bit of a "Who hs the biggest IQ" competition going on. I thought I would go ahead and end it. Last time I was tested, my IQ was 157.

As for Chamleonman's last post, that's pretty funny. I shed a tear at the thought that you wouldn't come back.
 
That emode IQ test is a joke! My father was "officially" tested (years ago) at 192 !! The emode test gave him (AND I) a score of 129 !! What a farce! I was "officially" tested (also, years ago) at 158 !! We were BOTH sent papers to "join" the Mensa club.... but, we both turned them down flat!....
In this day and age.... IQ scores mean NOTHING! You could be as dumb as a box of rocks, and still have more "common sense" than most of the "geniuses" out there today!
IQ tests have nothing to do with "street smarts", they are only concerned with "book smarts", and how you use your brain to solve certain problems....

Darn, I must have missed something growing up. I never had an IQ test performed. But heck, why would I want to have everyone's expectations of me to be higher than normal?

If people think you are a genius and you do something stupid, people will say "Look at him. A genius and he can barely tie his shoes without help." But if you rate no better than a retard EVERYTHING you do right will probably get rewarded. "Gee honey, you ate your soup all by yourself and didn't spill any. Now you get a bowl of ice cream as a reward!"

The smartest rat doesn't run the maze at all.
