• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

New to breeding and not sure about it just yet maybe another year or 2 till i really make a decision. First question how old should a ball python be before breeding. Whats a good healthy weight for the female to make sure she will not have problems. Can you breed the same offsprings together or should you keep them apart? Can babies stay together is so how many and how long and how big should the setup be? thanks in adavance for any advice

Females are generally around 18 Months old when they hit maturity males can be as soon as 7-9. Weights are the numbers that most breeders go for, generally 1200 grams for a female, and 500 for males. And you can breed offspring together but I would generally avoid it unless the offspring have a desired trait that no others have.

Oh and babies can stay together but it tends to cause feeding problems, they certainly do better separate. Babies can be in a 6qt tub while hatchlings then I move them to a 28qt then a 38qt for adults. Hope that helps!

thanks for the reply. the reason i was asking about siblings was incase i get some crazy morph/color and wanna keep it going. again thanks for the help
