    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys,
I'm new to Fauna. I'm a college "kid" (not really I'm 25, but still feel like I'm 12 sometimes) finishing my last semester at the University of Florida. I'll graduate with a BA in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the end of December. From there I'm hoping to get a Federal job doing wildlife tracking, surveying, montioring, and the like. I'd love to work for US Fish and Wildlife or USDA. I've also completed the Zoo program at Santa Fe community college here in G'ville, so if my dreams crash and burn I know I can get a job working in a zoo.

I'm working with one of the Water Management districts and UCF doing a herp surveying job on water management lands adjacent to Lake Panasoffkee in south central FL. I've set up herp traps to collect and catalog the species of herps on the site. I've also worked for a local breeder for the past 4 years and started trying to turn my hobby into a supplemental income. I'm focusing on boa constrictors and Morelia sp. with a trio of Amazon tree boas for grins and giggles. Last year turned out alright for me, I bred two female boa contrictors and a pair of Amazons. The female Amazon gave me some babies, but the boas didn't. Something is better than nothing, this year is off to a better start. I've posted some classified adds with my available animals.

That's me in a nut shell, cya around
