In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am new to the reptile scene , and I just want to say I love it, I was a fish enthusiast for 20 some years the last 6 Ive mainly been into show guppies ran a fish room of 30 or more tanks at a time ,which was great , I showed my fish for 2 years , and did quite well , winning the novice championship in 2000 and also placing 5th in the score rankings in the world show in germany in 2000, boy that was a great year , but this year i bought a Leo, about 2 months ago and the bug hit me ,BIG . I went to my first reptile show NARBC wow it was like toy land for a 46 year old ,my wife said she hadn't seen me this excited in years well I bought 5 Leo's a sub adult male bell albino and five big females , that I didn't realize were bigger than the male , oh well there is always the next show in Madison ,which I plan on going , and Ive added 6 more baby Leo's , these guys are addictive.a couple of pics, PS Ive only have 5 tanks of fish left , which will be gone this week ,

Steve,

Leopard geckos are really addictive. Make sure to quarantine any incoming reptiles. I know it's tempting to try to breed them but many collections have been ruined because of lax quarantine procedures. Beautiful animals, by the way. Any other questions just ask. There are many many knowledgeable people that frequent these forums.

Welcome to the leo forum, Steve! I used to have a cichlid hatchery at my house and worked at a large fish farm in Florida. Now, I have just leos and turtles. I do miss the fish, though! Just not enough time in a person's life. Guppies are the greatest.

welcome to the forum steve, as you know, leos are addicting, hell bynext year you probably have over 30, lol

what kinds of fish do you keep..or did you, freshwater or salt?

me and my father run a cichlid, molly, platty, discus and oscar hatchery, most are sold to pet stores.

but yeah, i've made sure i kept my two favorite hobbies, which are reptile keeping/breeding and fish :D

Welcome to the forum! Those are some beautiful leos you have there! They are definitely addicting and will keep you just as busy as your fish did. I enjoy keeping fish very much,, but my experience is limited to a 20 gallon tank in my apartment (guppies and cardinal tetras) and a bowl on my desk here at work with a frisky betta fish.

You have found a great place to post pics, ask questions, and discuss leos. Everyone here is super chill and very knowledgeable. Keep the pics coming! :)

Glad to have you join us here on Fauna! You are definitely in the right place if you want to hang out with a bunch of leo addicts!

Welcom to the forum Steve! Leos are addicting and yes if it weren't for my current housing restrictions I'd have many more. So far my total is three ;).

Welome!

"Leos are like potato chips, you can't have just one!" You will quickly find out how true that is. I started out with four, my fance's brother had them, and I kept asking him to let me have them until he finally gave in. :) About a year or so later, I got my next two, and then a year later I got Pumpkin. This past April,I got a baby blizzard. A surprise b-day present frommy fiance, but sadly, it died shortly after. :bawling: My goal is to have one of every morph, but the way new ones keep popping up I don't know if I can keep up! congrads on your new little ones.

I started 6 years ago with my first pair. Two years later I started gaining more until I had close to 40... Sold them all because of school last year.. Started again within the past 4 months and I have just under 30.
