    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello all I'm new to site but have been a snake owner for some years. I have a 2 year old ball and a 2 month old ball. Owned when I was younger also. Heck I raise my own feeder rats lol. Not a breeder. Enough on that. I am also looking for a 3rd snake but not sure what to get. I and my wife want a larger snake. But job stops me from things like rock pythons, burmese, and retics. I want something that will be 10-12ft. No bigger. Bc I'm military and when I deploy again my wife cannot handle anything bigger. Any ideas?

Welcome Bryan,

This a great site with a lot of friendly and knowledgeable breeders and hobbyist alike. Have you contemplated Carpet pythons? I personally have a Centralian Carpet Python (Morelia bredli), GREAT snakes, can't say enough good things about them and very under rated. Blood and Borneo pythons are really cool snake but they get somewhat heavy, only down side is they don't hang around you like other snakes, very terrestrial build. Womas are another good choice, active and always on the move. And my recommendation is a super dwarf reticulated python. These were final four choices. Hope this helps. And again welcome to Fauna :)

Hi Bryan! :wavey:
Welcome to Fauna!

For your 3rd snake: Its really all up to your own personal preferences, but you could go with maybe something like a Red-tail or a Rainbow boa.
Hope you find the right snake for you and your wife! :D
