In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This Is Josh,
Most of you know me from Outback Reptiles, I am no longer with Outback and am with a new company in Missouri called RT Scales.

We offer ball morphs, feeder rodents, and a select group of cb animals such as geckos, colubrids, and tree monitors.

My josh@outbackreps is gone now, this was a much better opportunity with a much better income for myself and my family, and we are happy to be a part of a great new company that is growing very quickly.

Thanks
RT Scales

You can't just keep creating new accounts every time you change jobs, Josh...at least not as a registered member.
I'll leave this alone for a day or two, in case you choose to pursue this in an accepted manner.

I asked to change my josh at outback account and it was said for paid members only, and I do not due enough buisiness on here to justify that ...

Delete me if need be ...

The membership is only $25 and if you are purchasing for business reasons, check with your CPA, it may be deductible, or RT Scales may purchase a membership for you because a presence here may lead to more business in the future.
It is money well spent.

Did you really think that laying low for a month would make the new account acceptable (or at least let it slip by unnoticed), Josh?

As a registered member, you cannot simply create a new account because you want a new name. You don't want to become a contributing member, that is your choice...but you don't get the perks of that membership any other way.

I took care of it. I merged the new account into the old account, as is policy.

Member name changes are a perk of paid memberships. Anyone trying to bypass this requirement may have their new account merged into their old account such as has taken place here. This will be the case no matter how long after the member creating this new account is discovered. Continual attempts to bypass this requirement will have the new member name banned in order to stop that cold in it's tracks.

Sorry, but I do have to offer some perks to try to entice members into becoming paying members. Just as YOU would like to make a little bit of money off of your work, so do I. I give a LOT away for free here, and have been doing so for over a decade. Some members will donate just out of the goodness of their hearts, recognizing there there does need to be some sort of financial incentive to keep this site going, and they just want to help out. Others need some minor inducements, in order to feel that they are getting something extra for their donation. And then there are others who have never given even a penny to help this site and probably never will. That's OK with me, I'm not forcing anyone to pay their way here, but don't expect to still get the perks if that is the case, and certainly don't think you can get them in an underhanded fashion and that will be OK.

If you think this is unfair of me, well, that's just the way it is going to have to be.

Josh decided to make another new account - http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/member.php?u=146094
Guess he really does think that laying low for a month will let him go unnoticed.

Josh - in a way I feel badly that you just wasted an hour posting ads; but you've been told that you can't create a new username. I thought it was pretty clear when Rich merged your last one back into Josh@OutbackReps; but here you are again.
As you've been told - changing usernames is a perk of paid membership. I understand that you don't think the amount of advertising you do here is worth $25; but that's the only way you're going to be allowed to advertise under a new username. I anticipate that this new account will also be merged into your old one...and if you make another new account after that, I'm just going to ban you.
