    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You guys want to talk about weird eating habits?? My ex-wife wanted to start a diet where all she was allowed to eat was Coconuts and Bananas.... all day long.... Coconuts and Bananas.... she never lost any weight.... but, man, could she climb a tree!.... lmao

Richard, you make a good point about mad cow disease not being killed through cooking. There are quite possibly things in herps that you can't kill simply through cooking, and the possibility of them being prepared in a way as to not eliminate all of these things in other places is also a valid point.
However, and this is just my personal idea, I think that the chances of picking up these diseases from thoroughly cooked reptiles is alot slimmer than picking them up from cows. A ruminant like a 500 lb cow is going to probably have a much larger available area for infection and infestation by possible pathogens than a 15 lb iguana would. Also(another personal view now), parasites tend to do better in a stable environment than one in which temperature fluctuates. Therefore, the constant 95 degree temperature(just picked a number, I don't know normal temps for a cow off the grill;) ) of a cow would probably be a better environment for more pathogens than the 70-95 degree daily temperature swings an iguana is likely to go through. I could be very wrong about this, but that is just the way I see things.


Hmmm, I'm beginning to wonder if this topic has gone more to the General Discussion level as to the BOI level;) Either way, this is a great discussion:)

Someone said something about monkeys, I got no problem with people who want to eat monkeys, I think their a little bizaar but hey scratch that itch, I forget where it was somewhere in Japan or Korea or something but it was on that banned from TV death videos in the 80's I forget the name but it was a whoel series of people getting killed on film and what not and they had people sticking monkeys in these tables with only their heads sticking out and while the monkey was alive the would crack them with mallets till their heads cracked open and they would eat the brains, now thats sick and about as inhumane as you can get, I ever catch someone doing something like that Im gonna lock their butt in a table and pelt them with something small like marbles so it takes a while, I havnt seen that in probally 10 yrs but it still makes my skin crawl thinking about it.

2. I also realized there was a second page AFTER the post showed up from the one I was looking and responding to, again, I was new and did not know how this forum differed.

3. Yes, I notice that alot of people add info I collect on their sites, I was telling others this a month ago.

Faces of Death is the name of the Vidio, I think theirs like 8 different ones. Alot of it is staged/fake but alot is real stuff caught on vidio

OK people, I opened up a BS forum on this site, so please keep the BS OUT of the BOI. Now I'm going to have to waste my time going through this thread to delete all the BS that has shown up in here.

Give me a break, please. A little levity is fine, but know when to stop.
