Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Newb from New York!

There seems to be a pretty big following in this area, so I dont know why we only have one show. It's a little frustrating!

I cant wait for September. I went last year with a friend and loved it! There were so many friendly people- this year is going to be a blast :)
 
There are a LOT of people around here that are into reptiles... I have someone at my place almost every day looking at snakes/geckos... It's amazing how many people are in this hobby...
 
XD Which makes it even more confusing that we dont have more shows! This is my first season breeding, but it's really fun and rewarding. I just have to convince my roommate to let me have different types of herps! XD
 
I'll be looking! I'm hoping to add another gecko or two to my collection :) And hopefully a snake!

Although I dont remember if anyone had Rosy Boas for sale last year, either way I'll keep my eye out!

I don't remember seeing rosy boas there last year... I know I'll be set up there this year with Ball Morphs (I doubt I'll have any normals), Western Hognoses (also most likely no normals), and PROBABLY a handful of higher end crested geckos (provided I decide to part with any of them).

Who knows, we may even run into each other before the show considering we do live in the same town...
 
Hopefully we do! I'd really like to get to know the people who keep reptiles around here, 'cause talking about reptiles to 'normal' people is a hassle! Lol.

I have my heart set on a Rosy, but I do have a 40gal that I'd love to have a ball in ;) I adore how they look, and all the different morphs they come in- they're just amazing snakes. I dont know anything about genetics or breeding snakes, though, so if I do get a ball, it will probably only be a pet one XD
 
Last year there was a guy there with rosies. I think his name was dave and I may still have one of his cards. I'll have to check. Hey jay if u want to we could split the cost of a table since I should have a decent group of cresties to sell there this year.
 
Mark, if I have room at my table, I'd be happy to split it with you... I guess we'll see toward the end of hatching season...
 
I remember buying a crested off of a guy who had a Rosy boa (I forget his name XP) but I dont think it was for sale. He let me hold it, though, and I fell in looooove~
