    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

newly hatched eastern milk snakes

I was lucky to be given an eastern milk snake. It would not eat so I released it. But before I did, it laid 9 eggs. And I now have 9 baby milk snakes. But I feel they are too small to eat pinkies. Can someone suggest what I should do? Here in Maine, we have already had a frost and I would be worried that they will not make it in the wild if I let them go. But I guess its normal here for them to be so late to hatch. It took 2 months to hatch the eggs.

Honestly unless you have a ready supply of lizards (anoles) or baby ground skinks it usually involves "quartering" or using mouse tails to get the lil guys to feed. If the milk you had was local to maine or anywhere that far north then it is likely that the juv's might do just as well in the wild. If not then well I guess you'd have to hope. The do sometimes tend to "brumate" or hibernate even as hatchlings in northern climates... So it's your guess. If you really want to keep any i'd recommend picking the largest and trying a day old pink... if they're even capable. If it can take the tiny pink then it'll probably do well enough...
