• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

... Also the person didn't buy the bearded dragon from the fake photos, they saw regular photos and still decided to buy. No one ever purchased from me with the fake photos, the buyer knew that those were fake and asked for regular photos which I provided....

That doesn't exactly jive with what the buyer's friend implied regarding the buyer's knowledge of the issues concerning your altered pictures.

I'm not even sure if my friend knew about this thread before he bought the dragon. I was talking about the situation with someone and they pulled this up and sent me the link.

...Also I think contacting people in person could help, I feel like sitting behind a computer isn't the best way to resolve problems. What could be a better way to resolve a problem then actually sit down and talk on the phone or in person?...

When viewed in the light of your past habit of flip-flopping on your statements, your insistence on communicating via phone or in person will be seen as an instant red flag to some of us. When someone has shown that their words can't be taken at face value, many people won't feel comfortable with communicating in a way that can't be documented and stored for future use.

That you chose to give the $200 refund, I think says at least something about your intentions of turning over a new leaf. Good luck on salvaging something from the wreckage of your past actions.
