    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am home from work today, and thought I would past a Good Guy thread regarding my dealings with Nick Hanna of Hanna Herps!

Nick posted an add in the Kingsnakes/Milk Snakes For Sale forum here on Fauna. He wasn't selling the babies from his '15 clutch of Thayeri Kingsnakes, although he does sell snakes, he just wanted them to go to good homes locally. Nick lives in New Orleans, and even though I recently moved to South Carolina, he was fine with me having my sister-in-law come to pick them up and hold them until I came back down to Louisiana to pick up the rest of my family's belongings.

Little did I know, that circumstances beyond my control would prevent me from coming down to Louisiana as planned, but when Nick found out from my sister-in-law that I wasn't going to be driving down as expected, he offered to ship them himself!

Further more, he has gone FAR beyond anything in our original deal! When I expressed interest in a male and he only had females left, he offered me one of his hold-backs from a previous year! At NO CHARGE!!

Though I have never met Nick in person, I have to say he is one of the most knowledgable keepers I have ever communicated with, which is no surprise considering the number of interviews he has given to the local paper regarding the New Orleans Zoo where he works, or the numerous articles he has written for assorted reptile and amphibian magazine!

I am genuinely grateful that an ad here on Fauna resulted in me meeting Nick, and I would encourage ANYONE I know to do business with him, as he is a truly Good-Guy! He is knowledgeable, generous, good natured and honest! Everything that is good about this community!

Thank you Nick!
~Beau
