In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So to start I don't want drama, I want the best for the animals. I got an albino iguana from Nick Lilis about two shows ago to the Manchester Expo. He had it front and center of his table. Yes he was thin i thought t was just improper care and that he'd gain some weight with the tlc. His ribs and hips were showing and they had them on just monkey chow. First problem was they wouldn't take anything but cash so we had to scramble around and get some. then they rushed us saying people were offering more and the original price of 1,000$ went up to 1,050$ not a big deal but annoying. They claimed he ate like a beast. Several people saw i had him and saw all the different times i went to go pay him at least 3 people

Can you post some proofs? Have the 3 people post that they observed you buying from Nick's table?
How is your iguana now? Your implication, since this was two shows ago and you state that you 'thought he would gain weight with tlc' is that he did not, did you take him to a vet?

Uh, so what is the point of your post, Angelica. You saw the iguana was thin, you felt pressured because of the cash only purchase, and then price went up. Yet, you still bought the animal.

What is your point? You could have easily walked away. Do you still have the iguana? How is the animal doing today?

Not trying to be rude here, but not sure what your point is. YOU made the choice to buy the animal "two shows ago". No one forced you. And now you come here with a complaint?

And no, I have never purchased from Nick, nor do I have any association whatsoever with him. Just seems an odd complaint given the recent Bad Guy thread made about him, especially since this is your first post.

I checked the emails that Linda Switzer sent me and in fact the name Naomi Perez is in those emails several times.

Naomi, we all want what is best for critters. Please realize that the number of questions and the requests for proof are due to the serious nature of the allegations of crypto in the recent thread about Nick Lillis.

On the one hand, we have a man and his career, on the other, we have innocent buyers who deserve to receive healthy critters, and certainly don't deserve to receive critters with crypto.

If you have read the recent thread you will see that the purported test that Nick claimed that Traci showed 'negative' have some fact issues that cloud their veracity, and much of the vet report seems intentionally withheld.
Add to this the fact that Nick does not seem to want to be transparent and has said he would no longer post, and it seems as if he is certainly not trying to help with facts. I have requested in that thread that he get his collection tested, he could have easily replied to me but has not done so.

So please understand the requests for proof, a request for facts rather than rumors is not drama, and you really could be doing what is best for the animals by slowing down, collecting and posting proofs you may have.

Naomi, you have accidentally misspelled Nick's last name in the thread title. This may interfere with internet searches and also foil the Fauna icon system in the classifieds.
If you wish, you can start another correctly spelled thread solely for the purpose of including as your first post a link to this first thread, with a short explanation so that others would not start posting in the second thread. That way your thread would be found more easily by those doing a search for Nick Lillis.

Can you please post timelines, dates? Did you have a table at the show, or were you just a visitor? Could you please elaborate on exactly what you mean regarding your "scramble around" to get cash to pay for that iguana. Sounds like you really wanted it bad. One last thing. Was it Switzer who advised you to come here and post this?

Linda saying that she had heard Naomi and another woman had purchased from Nick. It took me a moment this morning when I saw it here, to recognize the Naomi's name as there are quite a few names mentioned in Linda's emails to me (There are quite a few emails as well).

Why did you continue with the purchase (per the bolded words)?

Your post is missing many details, it makes it difficult to ascertain exactly what your issue is.

Hey ladies and gentlemen it seems the rumor starters of me having crypto have come to the light to start their own thread and brand new account. Obviously they didnt like the conclusion of my monkey tail testing negative according to Traci Ann. Like Chris said im going to be completely transparent with everyone. Before i had no idea who Ann Rivers was. I received this email that Naomi received from the vet(that i received in and email from linda switzer). So i did some research to see if this "vet" really existed. To my surprise it is actually a facility in Maine. I called the office talked to the front desk and they knew of Naomi and Ann Rivers right of the bat. They said they have been struggling with crypto for a good while now. So i think the real problem has and always had been THEIR issue with crypto that they were searching to pin on someone. When they bought the first iguana from us it was early in the morning of the 29th between 6-8:30 am when only vendors( Ann and Naomi being vendors) are allowed in the building they confronted us begging us to hold the albino while they gathered money from animals they were selling. Another funny thing is, this iguana they purchased from me. Which supposedly died from there own issues has a brother. Which they TRIED to get for free three months later at the next show. With the supposed death of there albino. After the free attempt didn't work they tried to purchase it from us. Luckily I STILL HAVE him and he is thriving crypto free. I also found it pretty interesting that Naomi, Ann Rivers, Linda, and Traci are all facebook buddies. Talk about talking behind the scenes trying to ruin someone's reputation with zero proof! I will say it again Ive sold and shipped animals daily for a long time now and have had zero issues besides this group of women. Proclaiming they have no relations. Ive provided pictures of the iguanas brother (taken today) and the email. I will provide pictures and videos of any of my animals upon request. Look at my profile picture that is a rhino my family has had for 9 years theres one thing i can promise you i could not keep all these expensive animals if crypto was in my collection. Obviously based upon the vets words and our discussion they clearly knew they had an issue with crypto and have vended shows. So what does that tell you?

Another thing a friend of mine reminded me of is the issue he had with his rhino. I bought the rhino from Naomi who is apparently in close relations with this Ann Rivers. This happened right after they purchased the first albino from me.The rhino sadly passed a few days after receiving it. Thank God the rhino was picked up at the post office and never reached my collection. I should have know better than to buy a rhino from someone who had no experience whatsoever. I mistakenly forgot when she came to my table to tried and hold one of my rhinos and DROPPED it out of fear and screamed. If any of you are familiar with a big rhino or rhinos in general they are a very hardy animal they just dont die. He never had it tested. Now i wish he did. Attached is the pictures of the deceased rhino and a picture of him alive in the poor enclosure Naomi had him in. Again i am not making assumptions it just seems to be alot of "coincidences" pointing directly at these two women. If anyone is a "flipper" its them they told me they adopted the rhino from a women who needed to find it a home then sold it to me for $500. None of us are perfect but these people are scary. They should not possess animals. Im just glad i found who put this RUMOR in all these peoples heads and sent out all these private messages!

Nick, I have not seen any evidence, up to this point, that crypto exists in your collection.

That said, Traci's testing, of her animal from you, does not show that it has been tested for crypto. Nor does the paperwork, that she submitted, show the results (neg./pos.) even if testing, for crypto, was performed.

Furthermore, a simple/routine fecal test, for parasites, will not show crypto (if it exists).
Testing, for crypto, must be, specifically, requested.
This is because the fecal test, for crypto, must be done in a specific manner (differing from a simple/routine parasite fecal test).
Then comes the problem that crypto fecal tests, oftentimes, show false negatives because crypto does not, continuously, shed oocytes. Oocytes are only shed in cycles.
This means that, if testing for crypto via fecal sample (with proper staining), the test must be repeated at least a few more times, at different intervals, and show negative, on each test, to be ~relatively~ comfortable that the animal does not have crypto. I say "relatively comfortable" because, while you can be ptetty sure crypto does not exist, in the tested animal, this method, of testing, still doesn't give a 100% guarantee.

The PCR test is a much better option when testing for crypto.

BTW, Nick, I would suggest that you test, ~at minimum~, some of your animals.
The more animals, that you have had "long term" & "short term" and that are located away from each other, all the better.
Also, done by using the PCR testing.
I believe someone else also suggested that you test your animals.

This would really help you. Not only for your own peace of mind but, also, could prove whether or not you have crypto in your collection.
If shown, that you do not, you would have hard evidence, to show, and not just your own words or the words, of others, alone.
