    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I will certainly do so. You had my phone number from shipping. I guess it was misplaced, or you couldnt get the shipping info back from reptile express, or something? Whatever the case, or whatever happened, I will keep you updated on results of tests, etc....

The simple truth is that he sent me sick animals. The pics I included in my 1st post, where we are outside? The skink I was working on, was literally sliding off my leg as I was taking pics and I had to reposition him a few times so that he could get a grasp and hold on. This was not due to the missing claws, either as he's had 3 ripped out or off (2 on one "hand" and one on the other) and is able to use the others left remaining. It was simply a matter of having enough strength to hold on.

So yes, I always qt my animals. And in this case, I DEFINITELY qt'd them in a separate area/enclosure because of how bad they looked coming out of the box. With their inability to grasp very much (and MT skinks grasp VERY hard when healthy) and the fact that one of them was holding its eyes closed and the overall very poor condition of the animals, I was not going to take any chances.

This isn't about liking or disliking you. I don't know you therefore I have no emotions one way or the other. I didn't ask for pics. I asked HOW MANY animals are in your care. And you didn't just call him "a" name. Your whole rant was despicable in my opinion.

I'm not going to argue w you Christopher Lee. NONE of us are perfect, even you. It seems you're showing a whole lot of dislike and emotion towards me in your comments and making reference to how "despicable" something I did, was....You've commented that you formed a personal opinion towards me and allowed your discretion and judgement towards this whole things to be "swayed" by the fact that I called him a lowlevel, lowlife scumbag."

You called him worse than that. I didn't mention your other comments for fear of an infraction for sharing unsavory language. I will post my opinions here as I see fit whether you like it or not. Also, unlike others here, I never go to people's FB or other sites for info regarding BOI threads. That's a fact. So cut the melodramatics. Had I asked many of the questions I should have, it would have shown a lot of hot air on your part had you answered. I have refrained more than usual.

vet recheck

I have made the second visit to the vet, as of this morning. I am having them tested for parasites and so on. Fingers crossed for negative results and health improvement.

The biggest male weighed 392 and continues to lose weight, as shown when visiting the vet today and was at 392 grams . Jasper is down from 322, to 311 grams, despite the 3-4 hour feedings of liquefied greens and fruits.

Average weight for solomon island skinks is between 500 and 850 grams.

I will add updates, here.

correction/edit: Babbaduk was 398 at first visit, he is now at 392.

To be more clear, Babbaduk arrived with 20% of his lowest desired body weight, gone and emaciated. Mind you, Babbaduk is a very large skink that is the length of my arm, so I would guess he should be AT LEAST a 7-800 gram skink.

Jasper arrived with about 36% of his lowest desired body weight, wasted away. I'm estimating Jasper at an average size and weight and should probably be a 3-400 gram skink.

That would be like you arriving at my house, whereyour lowest desired/healthy weight is supposed to be 150 lbs and you show up weighing 120 lbs, or 54 lbs.....

Correction, AGAIN! Jasper should be a 400-500 gram skink

You started out stating Jasper should have been 3-400grms? What are you using to estimate these numbers? (I'm assuming length, if so can you share that info as well?).
