I agree that we cant and shouldn't hold every buyers hand to make sure they don't get screwed. At the same time if someone allows people we know to be bad business men and women to sell animals on their site then don't they assume some of the responsibility? Obviously disclaimers cover them but in a moral sense?
Also I don't think the sticky idea is really feasible but I could see a sticky thread containing a list of KNOWN SCAMMERS and all their known aliases. Just as a quick reference. Of course then it comes down to who qualifies as a scammer and who decides but honestly nothing is easy, and some things are worth the effort.
