    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Because I got it cashed at a grocery store (not knowing it was counterfiet), they are also involved in the charges against this person. The more information that we have would be great, the more counterfiet checks we get from him is better. This fellow can really rack up charges against himself.

There are hundreds of people running the scam, I'm sure it's not the same one doing it with these other checks, etc. The person that got them needs to follow up on their own with their own local law enforcement. I would bet the farm (beardie farm that is) that it's not the same dude. Probably even 2 different people that sent the above 2 checks.

I have to agree, that is exactly what I did. If you feel you've been scammed with a counterfiet cashiers check, go to your local law enforcement.

Probably a waste of time though, it's not like they are going to extradite these assclowns from Nigeria. Even if they would/could do it there are simply too many doing it to even catch a large percentage of them. Imagine the resources needed to track down someone in Africa that is concealing his identity, the labor to do the extradition, etc..........all over less than $10k worth of checks. Not going to happen.

Well all you can do is try, maybe getting enough together will help out. I would be happy to give anyone my local law enforcements phone number if they want to talk to someone about it.
