• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi all, my name is Keith & I posted a few weeks ago about looking to adopt a sub-adult or older Nile after a recent incident with a hatchling (if you haven't read it, it is about a page down presently & has a similar title). While I received 3 promising sounding e-mails & folloed up with phone calls, none came through.

I was then contacted by someone who reads these forums by the name of Bryan, who has called & spoken with me about the Nile as a species and as a pet & has sent me in-depth texts on Niles, furthering my knowledge even more. He has also helped me overcome my fear of starting over with a younger Nile once more & I'm considering that path again. So... the point of my ad here is to
1). Thank Bryan for his help, knowledge & friendship.
2). Thank this site and its staff for making the herp-hobby world a better place if by no other means than giving people like us a place to give & receive knowledge.
And 3). Re-post my ad a little different than before.

Previously I was looking for larger-than-baby sized animals, but after talking with my new friend, I'm interested in the younger ones as well. I'd love to see some pictures & talk with some more knowledgeable people, and maybe find the companion that's right for me! :)
Thanks for your time,
Keith Marsh
