In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No good deed....

Next up is one my daughter has been calling cow.

Cow, female.

And if you have Cow, you have to have Chicken. Female.

Honestly...

This is so unfair when you are so far away...

Hmmm, you know, you can probably fit one in a snake bag! :) I'll take either of the Peteys or a Smudge! How much for overnight delivery! LOL!

Sammy I love the Petey female, if she had a circle over her left eye she would be an exact match for him. LOL I don't think you will have any problem finding homes for them.

Sadly we lost a puppy last Wednesday I think it was. Momma accidentally suffocated Brindle #2. That was something I had worried about and was keeping a very close eye on, but it happened when we were asleep. Truly sucks.

Other than that the rest are doing great. Growing like a weed and getting louder every day. They all have their eyes open now and are trying their best to walk. Gonna start the first round of worming this week and begin offering real food next week.

I have literally not slept more than 3 or 4 hours at a time, at most, since the pups were born. After two weeks it is starting to catch up with me. Will be really happy to put this next week or so behind us and the pups move past the delicate infant stage.

I will try to get some "Week 2" pics taken and posted today or tomorrow.

Shrap-

I'm so very sorry that you've lost that little brindle pup.

You've done so much for this dog family...don't let this loss get you down.

Hugs-
Donna

RIP-little one...
Wait by the Rainbow Bridge for your people...

I really wish you were closer. 2 months ago I had to put down my pit/shar pei mix due to old age. She had a good long life 16 1/2 years. Last year was a little hard on me and her. The world needs more people like you.
Great story and good luck!

Mike

Great Job Sammy!

Sorry to hear about the lost one though.

Big congrats on taking in the mother and the puppies are beautiful.

It's really a shame these dogs get a bad rap because they can be the sweetest family dogs out there (same goes for rotties).
