Well that is strange because I signed my name...unless that was another post hmm....

anyway...Chris Mazzochi...there's my name...I think the BOI has been exceedingly helpful..that's all I have been trying to get across..there have been quite a few people on the net that had good sites or appeared to be reputable but upon reading other posts here..I have learned that was not the case...sorry.

I just think that the more information we have on ripoffs,The better
There must have been a good reason for people having to pay to let people know they got ripped off but i guess that some people abused that and i think that sucks

I love this site
i have been reading it for a few months
And it has saved me alot of money, And taught me a thing or two about reptiles and the people who sell them

This site costs money to maintain and host. Someone needs to pay for it. BOI must be the most popular forum here so it is the most expensive part of the site to host, in terms of bandwidth and also likey in terms of maintenance.

Additionally, setting a bar, albeit a low one (whoever can't afford $10 can't afford the upkeep on even a single reptile) does keep away some of the idiots, and prevents many people from having multiple ID's. It's a small price to pay considering, in your own words:

I saw a little of that myself first hand when i was in panama in 1985 for jungle training, I think they do it as a terratorial thing. We actually had a guy shoot one of the monkeys for it and he ended up getting a article 15 ( military disciplinary action) and got 30 days and a reduction in rank.
They actually come in and raid the camps at night as well. cant leave out anything they can pick up and take with them.
