I have absolutely no reason to doubt Clay, but did he not say that only he and the owner of an account had the power to delete an individual account? I'm certain he did.

Even so, TC said that he did not delete his own account, yet the account is definitely deleted. So, that with which we are now left are four viable options:

1. Clay deleted TC's account (but, in an earlier post, he said he did not do that, so if he did, he lied about it);

2. TC did delete his own account, and he is, for some reason, lying to Ed;

3. Lori deleted the account, and Clay lied when he said she did not have that power;

or . . .

4. Lori deleted the account, and Clay did not realize that she had an ability she was not intended to have!

I guess it all depends on the definition of "can". I would tend to beleive more in option number 4 but there may be a slight variation. It may not be so much a matter of "can" meaning the physical ability using admin (global mod) permissions but Clay's intended permission to do so....ie: (may)...Like...Mom can I go play in the mud? ...of course you "CAN" but may you? NO! So Clay may very well have known that Lori "could" but trusted that she "Wouldn't" or thought it was clear that she understood not to use that little function.

Fortunately, the snake did go to a good home.

A current member of both Clays site and RH, sent Lori money for shipping a rescue boa.
This member has not heard anything from lori since having sent the $$.

A current member of Clays site, that did a deed for Lori a while back, traveling a distance to pick up a boa for her, with the promise that she would pick it up within that week.
The snake was with him for a few months before he gave up on lori and placed the boa in a good home.

A huge normal burm, recently rescued in Florida.
Lori put dibs on it and staked her claim ASAP when it was posted on RH.
Was due to pick it up, but has since been placed in another home.

Yes, TRUST is a biggie in the world of global admin/mods.
If you can't trust a mod or an admin with things of importance on a site, then it will create a long term distrust for the guilty parties.

I find what Clay said about making Devin a global mod, odd at best, especially with him just having joined the site, AND without any recommendations at all from lori?

Maybe what I said is true and the motto for RTBs needs to change.. Join RTBs, make beds with Lori and get POWER.

Devin is the ONLY one that has been defending Lori ANYWHERE and I am sure that Clay saw that on these forums AND/OR got a recommendation from lori, due to the great powers bestowed on him, 'without' a recommendation.

Eddie sent me the link to this thread and I have thought long and hard about posting on it. The reason you may ask? I really have nothing left to say about the issues that took place at RTB.net. Let me remind everyone here that I respect each person's opinion and I still consider some a friend although I do not always agree with their opinions and everything. I want to say this, this will be the last time I reply to such a thread related to any issues that took place at RTB.net. These issues no longer concern me and I am really trying to move on and let the past rest and forget about it all and enjoy learning and helping others. When I talk to Lori, I talk about civil things. How she is doing and how her health has been and is it getting better or worse. The last I heard from Lori is she was sleeping almost all of the day and the treatment could last up to over six months. I myself have not talked to her in awhile. Lori does not tell me what to say and how to do things, nor am I her "puppet." I will address more about the "puppet" thing later on. It has been pretty much confirmed that Lori indeed sent Shane her resignations two weeks prior to the meeting. She intended to leave and had no intentions on doing so. Her reasons you may ask me? Honestly, I do not know why she left, but I do have my own theories. As much as many of the rumors and accusations that have been brought up about me, most always intend to stick me with Lori. Simply because I defended her? I'm going to address Ritchie's timeline. First, I wouild like to say I respect Ritchie as a person. To me he is one of the good guys trying to keep scammers out of the community. I have never had one conversation with Ritchie, nor have I ever talked to him or addressed anything concerned with him. Ritchie, you do not know me and therefor you do not have a right to go about criticizing me for and following along with others opinions. Does it make you somewhat special? I would really like to have a good reason as to why you think you know so much about me and everything I do and what type of person I am when you have never had a single contact with me? If you ask me, it makes no sense. Let's take some looks at the timeline. Lori grew like a virus and ran things her way. Personally, I have seen Lori put a lot of work into the site and think she did a good job with helping it. And Shane has even told me himself that most of the things Lori did were verified by him. Whatever your personal differences are with Lori, then you are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine. Never do I recall Lori bragging about being the boss and throwing her weight around. #3 is not of my concern, address that with her or Shane. Memory serves that you mods and admins resigned during the chat meeting and after Donnie resigned. Many of the mods and admins typed messages such as if Shane didn't any with the changes you all were leaving. Doesn't this resemble a power issue? Shane also tried to keep Lori about the site two weeks or more prior to the chat meeting and before anyone resigned, so it seems Lori had enough before you mods and admins did. If Lori resigned before anything was addressed, then the assumption that she resigned because she was losing powers or whatever does not stand as a fact. Lori resigned rather than quit and it was not because of admin privileges. Email Shane and question it. Her resignation may have been accepted by you guys and it was also accepted by me (noone has the right to doubt another persons reasons for resignation). However, Shane did not approve of Lori leaving. I never really knew Lori has really resigned until weeks after I resigned. Lori was just a member to me as were you all. A community is somthing that serves to benefit it's members. There is really no such thing as being on top. You guys say I was happy to see you go, yet you seem to be more happy to see me go. Not true, I stated in my post on the thread that I did not want to see you guys go, that you all had something to offer to the community. If all the members are coming back and the site is growing and doing great then I am happy for the site. Congragulations. I had several members email with with complaints and I seen several admins and mod berate other members and abuse their privileges here and there. This includes each and every admin and Lori herself. Do I portray Lori as a saint? No I don't not. As I have said before, I am a fair and honest person and no one is perfect. Will I consider you saints? No I will not. You admins have done many wrongs just as she has and have yet to admit that you are no more perfect than she is. Afterall, we are all humans. It is not about one admin abusing privileges, I have witnessed admins abuse their privileges many times myself. You guys might wonder why you never received emails with complaints concering yourselves. Let's face it, if someone has a complaint about another admin, you can bet that they will be the last to know. You can show Lori's power trips, then that does not concern me and I do not feel like going back to RTB.net to dig up power trips. I recall you admins deleting and locking accounts as well. So Lori was not the only one that deleted and locked accounts. Eddie, as much as I wish to agree with you, I will not lie. I had no promised powers and I clearly stated that doing a new template for the site, I would not become an admin, it was only to help Shane with the site. He really had an huge intention to do something that would greatly benefit the site. I agreed to help. I do know different coding languages. Do I know PHP? No I do not, but I had Shane and many others teaching me to use it. Afterall, PHP really isn't something that can't be learned. Lori never promised me anything. I asked a long time ago about becoming an admin and I do mean a very long time ago and her response was that I would have to go through Shane. Spare me please. Shane did tell me at times that he was looking for active new admins and that I was on the top of the list. I told him I would do whatever he needed done and help in any way that would benefit the site in the best way. Eddie, I do not brag about things. And no need to hide identities because I have a very good memory of things. *** is herp_chick. One "changed" is Bry and the other one is Captain Morgan. I wish I still had the logs of things other said, what a difference it would make to hear some backstabbing. I was never power hungry and I never will be. Having the privilege to move, delete, and edit messages and other things mean nothing to me. I could careless about having special privileges, I have been mod and admin on several other sites in the past and with sites with a lot of members, it's best to not even think about being a mod or admin. You guys claim Lori moved mods around. I would like to address some things and also get some things verified by Shane. Shane has told me several times before that he verified most of what Lori did and that includes mods and admins. Whether she moved them or not without permission, you admins have done the same things. Julius, you moved people off of forums simply because you thought they knew nothing about the specific forum and had nothing to offer and appointed your best friends and girlfriend to forums without any other admin's thoughts to. When Donnie appointed Michelle admin, you admins got so pissed off and raised so much hell about it and who did you accuse? Lori. Michelle even PMed me and told me she was about to cry because she only wanted to help and did not expect to cause any problems and be conconsidered a slut and had to sleep with an admin to get admin. Plenty of people that got pissed and mad about it became admins the following days. Big coincidence. Above all of the issues, I would like to address one thing. That is me becoming an Global Moderator on Clay's site. I never asked to be mod or anything. It was Clay and what who he thought he could trust and help with the site. I accepted to become an mod and began to help the site with moving topics into their correct categories and the other things that needed to be done. I am honored to be able to mod Clay's site and I have a lot of respect for him as a person and a breeder. But why is this any concern to the issues in this thread? It seems that you guys just stalk and stalk and try to shoot anything dead related to me. Me becoming an mod on Clay's site has nothing to do with the issues at RTB.net. Yet, it's here just to stir up more issues. From the looks of Clay becoming an big part of the issues now, it seems to me that ya'll are just trying to cause more issues. Clay owns his site, he has nothing to give to anyone and he deserves the right t do things the way he sees best benefit. I realized that after all the Global Moderator things being assumed and accusations being made, that I am now a regular mod. Am I mad? No I am not. As a regular mod I will continue to do the things that I am suppose to and I respect Clay's decision toward it. But let's face the facts, this would have never happened if you guys didn't try to cause more issues and bring about troubles that Clay did not want to get into. The main reason I resigned was because I did not want to be part of the issues at RTB.net anymore. I was tired of everyone fighting and berating others. More that adding to my decision was the fact that some many rumors and so much backstabbing was taking place about me that I simply felt like I was no longer part of what used to be to me a great community. As to why you all really hate me, I can only say it was because I took Lori's side. I will not sit back and watch the drama when one person is getting berate and jumped on by others who have do things she has done themselves. I have several forums to moderate. I will just do the best I can in each forum. I will continue to look for the bad guys. But the fighting between mods and all that stuff. I will TRY to go ahead and let it go. In the future I plan on becoming more serious with this hobby (probably make it a business). So I will stop with this fighting stuff.

TC was a friend of mine. He bought snakes from me, I bought snakes from him. No problems between us ever that I am aware of. At least TC never communicated a problem to me. I have said before he was one of the 1st members I had, and would never even remotely consider revoking his status. By the way. TC was STILL a global moderator at the time his account went inactive. Sure I can look back and see that the problems between Lori and TC obviously resulted in his decision to leave the forum... maybe I should have been more on top of that situation... I wish he were still a part of my forum, and that is the God's honest truth.

The facts of the forum software.. It is pre-packaged software folks, I do not have a magic wand that I wave every once in a while to change up the rules... These packaged forums have a tremendous amount of presets that I have no control over. I have seen your websites, and notice that you can only link to forums, instead of running your own... I think I know why now. They are extremely hard to setup and hard to maintain. And most importantly it is IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone. It is easy to jump around to everyone else's forums, post and pop, but it is extremely difficult to maintain an environment that is beneficial to the members and stay completely on top of it.

Any way I will repeat the facts. 2 people can delete the account. ME and the user that created the account based on login username and password... I can protect the password at the server level, because it is encrypted and even I cannot recover someone's existing password. This is the 3rd version of YABB that I am running. The global moderator status was added in this new version, so I am not sure if the previous versions allowed moderators any specific powers that I was unaware of and I certainly do not know the specifics of the code.

By the way webmasters. YABB is free and so is the source code. Download it, install it on your website and give it a spin. Study the admin sections, and see what the permissions and priveledges are.

Global moderators cannot modify the user account, cannot reset a password, cannot delete an account.

I think at this point even if I removed her moderation status of any kind, you would not rest. Who's next? Devin, Bry, Ritchie ( I mean he has been a long time moderator for me, and was instrumental in tracking down Jesse Underhill, so he has been part of the site for a long time now)

Do you continue to attack me and my site because I have Lori as a moderator or even a user?

I would just like to say....I am over it...been over it. Personally I don't understand the witch hunt other than Eddie trying to collect his money that is owed to him. We got our way. Things are going much better. I think there are some huge holes in some of the stories here....but does it change how I sleep at night? no...does it cause me any greif in my day to day life? no...let whomever is lying lie...who cares? There was nothing to prove about JRiley's acct being deleted....Lori admitted deleting it...she admitted calling his work too...What do we at RH care what she deletes on Clay's site? It doesn't effect us at all...it doesn't even seem to bother TC too much.

Xzylum... I have not been stalkinging or following anyone anywhere nor do I intend to. I made one change on a forum that I started and feel a close personal connection to...the arboreal forum...woopee...Lori changed them all and didnt ask anyone. Why is that ok and me changing one set off all these fireworks? Oh...and get your facts straight...I talked to Lori, Eddie and ...maybe Morti...I know there was another admin that I tossed this around with...BEFORE creating the bird forum and placing Megan as a mod there. Birds are her expertise and the forum was setup for her to share her experience...I wouldn't just add an oddball forum like that without first talking to some folks...and I would never have added Megan as a mod without other admins blessings...

I agree with one thing you said...none of us are perfect...everyone screws up....that is why it was so important for us to come together and start making decissions together and not have one person playing dictator. With several points of view...we are far less likely to act upon emotions or otherwise screw stuff up. You and Lori both bailed without giving anything a chance. Noone asked either of you to leave. And drop the BS about Lori having had already resigned...noone is buying that...she may have said shes sick of it all and was leaving...we all say that at least 5 times a day...but she had no intentions in leaving or else she wouldn't have roosted her butt on the throne and she wouldn't have gotten pissy about any changes made to her new mod list...why would she have cared if she resigned 2 weeks earlier? WHY? anyway....who cares...she lied...woopie...guess what? It doesn't matter. We all know better... noone really cares. at least I don't. She can say she is President George in drag for all I care. It appeards that she is trying to place all her large burms, 9' and larger in new homes.
And since the burm she owes me for is well over 9", then i am assuming that it will also be placed in a new home.

Now i am really pissed off.

But I also wonder if she is placing them, or selling them, she doesn't say.

And with ALL adoptions i do, it is to have been reverted back to MY ownership in ANY event that the home can no longer keep it for ANY reason.

Some one please inform Lori that she needs to ship the male burm that was adopted from me, by her, ASAP! And she can consider the funds owed as what is needed by her to pay for shipping!

I say some one, since she has taken the habit of ignoring my emails once again.

Apology to Clay and ramblings...

Yup, that's right.

I found out through another source that I may have been deceived by TC about who had or had not deleted his account on RTBs.
So my apology goes out to Clay on that point.

It was so easy to disbelieve Clay and believe the other, especially since one with a habit of nailing people on a cross and torching it is a mod on his site.

The company you keep really does reflect off of you.


Now as for Mrs. Kehoe, yes, she posted that she was looking to move ALL the 9'+ burms out of her collection due to health reasons.
Since the burm that she owes me the 1/2 fee on was at 8' when she received it over a year ago, then it stands to reason that IT also, is one of the burms she is getting rid of.

Alas, she did not clarify whether it and the others were being adopted out or sold, simply that she has contacted people that may be interested in them.

And I do stand by what I said earlier, since the adoption, like most everyone that does rescues, was set and understood that if the new owner could not keep the animal for any reason, that it reverts back to my ownership.
And with the extrinuating circumstances of dodging me for quite some time and SINCE she agreed to send the funds a few weeks ago, no money order yet AND ignoring my mails again....
I got some one to mail her for me on it, yet once again, no reply to that party either.

To me, aquiring anything, with promise of agreed payment and not sending the payment after a years time AND not sending it after admitting she owed is 'obtaining property under false pretenses', a crime in most states.
To me, getting rid of that same property to a 3rd party, without fulfilling the original agreement with the 1st party, then she has knowingly given away/sold stolen property.

What really irks me now, is that Lori has a copy of the animal shelter papers, which state the fee of $75 and the medical history.

I would not put it past her to use that to gain moneterily on the burm, for the full amount which she never paid ANY of in the first place.


Lori, if you are reading this, or if anyone tells her to look here or passes this along to her, since you are unable to continue keeping the burm due to health reasons, then it needs to be shipped back here.
An email has been sent to you, regarding a person that is able to transport the animal towards the end of this month.
That will save you any shipping costs on it.
All you have to do is reply to that mail and we will get the wheels in motion.

Eddie, I sure hope you're not holding your breathe on this one. You may well set a world record for it if you do but, my guess is that's the only satisfaction you'll see from this situation.

Lori, you suck, bigtime!!! The fact that you are using rescues to profit makes it all the worse, you're not just a plain old criminal, that would be bad enough in and of itself, no, you're one who uses the sympathy of actual caring people to make a buck for yourself.

I think of you and am reminded of what I had to scrape off my shoe last time I was in the yard cleaning up after the dogs, it really stank too.

I just want this thing to be over with and for everyone to be happy and get along.
I DO NOT want the cage. Don't know what cooties may be residing in it. It might infect my animals or what not.

I just want the burm to go back to its rightful owner and for everyone to let by gones be by gones and get this stuff over with.
