    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Nockturnel Tom

Toms a great guy, fixen to drop by his place tomorrow to pick up my pair of whitesided specks and some animals he was gracious enough to pick up and hold for me till I can swing by. I highly recommend him not only as a breeder but as a friend.
 
Looks as though Tom has enough posts to give you an idea as to how much he cares about his herps. Since I have been keeping in touch with him for the past couple of years and had a blast hanging out with him at several shows inclusive of the Hurricane party we had, trapped a couple years back in Daytona I must also add he is one of the finest herpers we currently have in the hobby. One who cares not only about his herps but anyone else's that are in need of assistance.

No Problem

I bought a MBK from Tom last week and have nothing but good to say about him. He communicated well via e-mail and we set up a time that was good for both of us to meet at his house for pick-up. He also took the time out to show me (still new) his incubator with eggs cooking and mostly all of his snakes. He does have some superb stock and the whitesided speckles are even better in person. I stayed in his house for over 1 hour and he was a complete gentleman. Thanks again Tom, I would recommend you to anyone. :)

Love my new Speckled king

I picked up one of Toms Speckled kings 66% poss het for whitewall at the Daytona show in August and have got to say this thing is beautiful. I had my eye on getting some specks but then I saw a picture of the whitewall. It was awesome. So after some e-mail comm with Tom and him trying to help me get the whole het/possible het/morph/etc thing clear in my head I decided to start a whitewall "project". Being new to the reptile world I've got to say he has helped me tremendously already. And the good thing about it is I know he will help me anytime with my snake questions. Thanks Tom. Kevin
 
I've not bought anything from him, though I am possibly going to do so next season.
In the e-mail exchanges I have had with him, he has been extremely proffesional and honest.

He's doesn't have any hatchlings of what I want left this season, but he referred me to other breeders of the same snake I'm looking for that might have some in stock this season. Clearly he's in it for the love.
 
I've been going to Tom for animals, advice and general insight. I've gotten to know him over the past year, and he's the real deal.

His collection is meticulously cared for, and he's one of the people out there that truly cares for his animals.

He bent over backwards helping me with caring for a sick animal that I picked up before meeting him, prior to me even buying anything from him. A quick browse through his website offers loads of very helpful information- a testament to his commitment and passion for the hobby.

I did end up buying a snake from him (an awesome patternless southern pine), and just recently, picked up a pair of '06 mexican black kings- all doing great!

I HIGHLY recommend Tom Stevens (Nokturnel Tom)- not only to do business with, but also an invaluable resource for the hobby.

The only thing keeping me from picking up more animals from him is my wife! :)

I bought 2.3 L.g holbrooki (Speckled Kings) 66% het for White Walls from Tom recently and they're awesome little snakes. I can't wait until they get bigger, they're so tiny now.

This isn't the greatest photo, but here's one anyway. Thanks again Tom! I may get some pines soon.

Great Guy

I have known Tom for many years now and I see him every year in Daytona. I have always heard great things about his collection and peoples dealings with him. It is good to have such great guys in the hobby like Tom to help out way the crappy people. I would definitely deal with Tom again. Hopefully he will get those Womas to lay eggs this year! LOL Good Guy!!

Just received nine snakes from Tom Stevens today. I trust him so much that I did not even see a picture of some of these animals before they arrived at my house. The possible het specks, hypo brooksi, hybino and ghost gophers and mbks are the best looking and healthiest I have purchased over the net. Never met Tom in person but felt like we had a handshake deal as if we looked each other in the eye.

I have read hundreds of these BOI posts that describe disaster after disaster for both buyers and sellers. Tom is really the best this industry has to offer. No guile. No fear of the rip off, send your money his word is true. And the animals are the best.

Great place to buy a Snake!

Tom was very easy to work with, and I was 110% happy to have done business with him. In fact I would like to work through Tom in the future because I feel I can trust Tom to be straight forward with me, and you really need that trust when your dealing over the internet. Tom is also quick to answer all questions that you may have. I got two brooksi's from Tom in November, last year. I just sent him a email posting another order. My wife's gonna kill me, and Mr. Stevens will be a accessory, because Tom makes it a joy to buy his animals, helps you through every step of the way.
I've told him before, and I see many others agree, he's truly a gentleman and an asset to the business. none better.

There are a lot of great posts about Tom and there really isn't much you can add.....So, I will just say it shows how highly Tom is thought of for this many people to repeat the same message.

Just wanted to add my recent experience with Tom. I purchased a normal Brooksi (66 percent het) from Tom a few weeks ago, and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. This king is everything it was advertised to be, and more. Flawless transaction. His animals are large, healthy, and hardy. Also he's very quick to reply through email. Answers any and all questions. Without a doubt I'd purchase from him again. Thanks Tom.

Same Experience Here!

I have purchased a few animals from Tom. Got to meet him in Daytona last year. Great guy and great animals. I would agree that if anything they are "underdescribed". Shipping is top notch as well and I plan on getting more this season.

.......another meeting at his house, another flawless transaction. His stock has grown to almost double the size (so it seems) from my last visit and he is currently in the process of enlarging his "snake room" to a small "snake house". LOL

Nothing but excellent words for you, once again Tom.......thanks for spending over an hour again showing me your current projects. Will definitely purchase from you again in the near future.

Funny thing though, your feisty little devil Abbotts arrived in my house when I finally got home and into the hands of my wife for 15 minutes of chilling out with no strikes. :shrug01: I guess she just hated you a whole lot for some reason. :D

Just met Tom at Austin Show

My girlfriend and I just met Tom at the Round Rock show (Austin area). Tom was very friendly and spent alot of time talking to us and giving me tips and ideas for my Honduran projects. Tom's website (tomssnakes.com) is also quite informative. Everyone who's into colubrids should check it out. I bought two het albino Hondurans from him at the show and both are doing well and have voracious appetites. Great little snakes. Thanks, Tom!

I am glad to hear you guys are all happy with your snakes. I have been extremely busy lately building my second snake room which is just about done and keeping up with all the regular maintenance and getting eggs set up.
