I have to get rid of my snakes and animals because I will be leaving here in a few months and I can't take them with me. This is one of them. Her name is missy and she is a Female Red Tail Boa that I have had for almost her whole life. She has not had 1 problem EVER since I have owned her. She was bought from Fantasy Boas. She is just over 2.5 years old. The last time I measured here she was over 5.5 feet but that was a few months ago. She's probably closer to 6 now. I weighed her at 9 lbs at her heaviest. She eats XXL rats and XXXL rats. She has eaten small rabbits (3/4lb) and XXL guinea pigs too. She will pretty much eat anything. She was conservatively fed when she was younger I wanted her to enjoy a good long life so I didn't push it. Now she is fed every 12-14 days. She is healthy as a horse and eats like one too. She sheds in one peice like 99% of the time. She is in a 50 gallon long tank right now. She should be ok there for a while longer but eventually a 75 or bigger will be needed. She will be full grown in about a year and a half or so. Her mother is a 8.5 foot 30 lb boa and she has outgrown her siblings so I imagine when she is done growing this is truly going to be a big snake. The tank and top will come with her. I also have 2 more XXL guinea pigs and 1 XXXL rat, frozen of course, that will go with her. Here's a few pics.
