Captive born ADULT MALE Northern blue-tongue skink (Tiliqua scincoides intermedia) in Tucson.
In the photos he has a little bit of shed left on his back from his recent shed. It will be gone by tomorrow.
He is from Thunder Bay Herps in Florida/Ray Gurgai stock. I purchased him indirectly from someone who bought him at a show in Florida.
He is about 8 years old now. Great breeder -- has produced babies 5 years in a row. He fathered two litters this last year. Also, an excellent eater -- including mice and rat pups. I have some younger males that I raised up, and need to reduce my group. I have a 15-year old male that still breeds and produces babies. So 8-years is prime age and these skinks can live well over 20 years of age.
NOT for kids or a petting zoo. He is very territorial and has an attitude. I handle him but, again, NOT for a pet. I am selling him at a very low price ONLY because of his attitute -- he is very healthy and will make a great display animal and/or breeder.
He is $250
Shipping with FedEx priority overnight. Depending on location, it will be $50 to $75 or so. I can give you an exact quote with your zip code.
