Just finished the blue-tongue breeding season, and I'm selling off a couple of extra Northern blue-tongue skinks. (Tiliqua scincoides intermedia)
This guy is a male born in 2011. As you can see he has a bit of a stub tail, bitten off by a sibling at a young age. It completely healed up and partly regenerated years ago.
I obtained him from blue-tongue breeder James Wilson in California -- who obtained him from BT breeder Jeff Green.
I used him as a backup breeder... but with breeding season over, I have a plethora of idle males lounging about.
For those of you into skink genealogy, he has an excellent pedigree (quoting James Wilson here):
"Tully was born on 6-15-2011. He was produced by Jeff Green. If you know Jeff’s animals, then the following lineage info might be of some use to you. His father is Tiger, and his mother is Lorena. His grandparents on his father’s side are Charlie and Betty. His Grandparents on his Mother’s side are Niko and Peach. He has produced for me on a couple occasions as a back-up male when the other males had their hands full with too many females. Tully has a bit of a stub tail because his sister bit it off and ate it when they were babies. It has grown back nicely."
Tully has a GREAT temperament -- very mellow -- and would make a fine solo pet. Or a valuable asset in a breeding program -- especially for people focused on genealogical résumés.
