In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I cant one of my albino nelsons to eat can someone give me some advice

thanks for the replise

It's about 12 weeks old. It has fed on f/t pinkie mice, but has shown no interest in them the last few Weeks. I'll try again today with a brained pinkie. any other thoughts?

Thanks

Not to put anyone down, but I would not recommend putting anything into anythings mouth until assist feeding is absolutely necessary. I will email you to continue this conversation.

........

well i never said force feed it theres a big difference between force feeding and just putting the pinky into its mouth .. i do it with my baby corns that dont want to eat ..i carefully nudge the head of the pinky into the snakes mouth until it opens and then i move the head of the pinky into the mouth and when the snake closes its mouth i let it be and let it eat on its own
so please dont put words into my mouth ( force feeding is shoving it down the snakes throat ) i never said that ..

Testy testy we are....As I said, I am not putting anyone down. I just prefer giving ample time for them to do it on their own. Just my opinion. I appreciate your concern for thinking I was putting words in your mouth, but that was the least of my intentions.

I make a hole in the substrate, and put a small plastic cup with a hole cut in the top in the substrate. It acts as a hide for the snake, and I then put the pinky in there. For some reason all the babies I have had problems with eat when they stumble across this. Maybe its more natural dunno!

I agree putting something in a young snakes mouth could suffocate it, you can also try a live pinkie, or possibly small anole

Helping out, maybe!

Also try tuna juice, you know the stuff you drain out of a can of tuna before you eat it. I have used this method a few times on my corns. I just take a q-tip and put it in the juice, then I spred it on the pinky. Most of the time it does the trick. Be sure that your temps are right and water is plentifull. I have a few hondurans and let me tell yeah, they can be picky. One of my females wont eat unless she wants too. I offer her live mice and sometimes she wont eat so I will wait 2 weeks and offer again. Sometimes she will go longer than a month and then all the suddin she will eat 2 mice in one day and continue to feed regularly for awhile after that.
Hope that is of help

Nate
