    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not too bad

It's due to the people who drop prices daily if an animal doesn't sell immediately. Double gene adults should never be the same price as a normal baby but that's the way it's heading.

I agree steve. Its headed that way but we dont all have to follow suit. Hold firm on prices and dont get discouraged if it take a year to sell a baby. The money put into that baby isnt as much as you think it is... and if you think it is maybe your breeding plans need to be thought out a little better... using you as a general term for everyone not you steve!

Most of the newer people I have seen buying up tons of animals have no clear plan on what they want to produce. I have 2 animals that I pulled off the market because I won't drop the price. They will end up breeding here. A lot of people got into the market expecting to get rich and when that didn't happen they panic and dump their stock. Goes to show who cares about the animals and who just wanted the easy money. I'll gladly buy up the animals. Maybe when all of the not so serious keepers sell off all their stock, the market will return to some type of normalcy.

Yeah this is not a get rich quick thing. Its called a hobby that will one day pay for it self and maybe have some extra cash in there somewhere. Will take way longer than most people rralize. It would be great to replace my income and be able to breed animals for a living but that is just not practical or in my reach yet. Gotta have the love and passion or there wont be any fruits to your labor. Just a bunch of thorn bushes and sticker patches...

I agree, I only selling some snakes off cause we are over what we agreed to as our limit with the landlord, so before she finds out we are trying to sell off a lot of the snakes we produced and ones that no longer fit our limited allotment for snakes at this time.

Its cool your landlord lets you keep snakes. I know alot of people are really negative and dont even allow a little leopard gecko. Then you have the city laws which are crap. Here you cant own a snake over 6'! I cant wait to get out in the country.

pretty nice deal : ) I ended up keeping most of my babies this year, I only breed to get a combo I want that I can't afford and to have cute baby snakes around. I'm still trying to figure out how an OD went from $1800-$2000 when I bought my male to $400 in a year or two. And some people have OD combos for $4,000 and an add right next to it will have one for $700. And I keep seeing people selling near adult fires for $100 or $200. Adult normals go for a hundred! When I bought my female fire it was $650 for a hatching and that wasn't that long ago. Just don't get it....
