    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im leaving for skool in september and i have 20+ leos, mostly hatchlings that are too small to shipped. Ive never shipped geckos b4 so im nervous about it, but i cant think of any other way to lighten the load for my parents when im away at skool. any suggestions?

you've got a little over a month...feed them & ship them (I would think they would be ready by then)

Could you provide more detail? Do you want to ship them to school so you will have them there? Do you need to ship them to someone else to take care of them? If they're going to school, where is that in relation to where you live now? Let us know and maybe we'll have some more ideas.

im actually going to israel for a year, then im going to University of maryland. so even if i could ship them to maryland, im still gunna b on the other side of the world starting in spetember

If you don't know anyone who can take care of them, you'll likely have to sell them. I suppose they could go to Israel, but you'd have to do a vet check on every one of them (I believe it's required for export), and the fees alone are usually a couple hundred dollars. That should be accurate I was looking up shipping to Canada a few years ago. You can sell them with the restriction that shipping will occur when they are old enough.

Shipping to Maryland is easy, overseas is another story.

i want to sell them, its just the trouble of finding someone to buy them and then shipping over 20 by the end of the month

You can also look into selling them to a pet store. Just try to find one that takes good care of the animals.

Shipping geckos isn't as scary as you may think. You're shipping at the best time of year, for one thing, so unless you're shipping to someplace extraordinarily hot you shouldn't need a cold pack or anything. In fact, shipping won't be nearly as much of a problem as finding buyers, especially at this time of year when the market is flooded.

However, you're actually somewhat in luck. There's a reptile show in Staten Island on August 21st. For more information, go here: http://metroherpsociety.org/Meetings.html

You could rent a table and try to sell your geckos there. There's also a reptile show in Dewitt, NY, but mapquest is being dumb and not telling me exactly where that is in relation to you. For information on that, go here: http://www.animal-dreams.com/newyorkherpetologicalexpo/ That's on August 26th.

If that still doesn't work, PM or email me or whatever. I'm only 2.5 hours north of you and have a friendly relationship with a petshop up here. If you really run out of luck (or time), I might be able to take those babies off your hands, especially if you're willing to drive halfway or so I can save on gas. I'm in West Virginia right now, but I should be back in NY this weekend. I'm a little tight on rack space but since I lost so many eggs this year due to fungus I think I can handle a few extra babies. Are they hets for anything? What morphs are they?

Anyways, email me. I probably won't be able to chat until this weekend or next week, but hopefully I'll be able to help you out. Try the reptile shows first if you can, though.

ive never heard of a show in staten island, its not in reptiles magazine at any rate, but it would b great if i could get a table
