    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Absolutely right! Won't hear a peep from me! Like I said before the guy I bought the snake from dealt with me properly and I have no problem doing business with him.
 
The OP said he wanted to buy the snake but at that time he had NO WAY to recieve the snake. Anyone who is giving three days for a person to "get back to them" about a sale is going to end up sitting around waiting on "no-shows" a lot.

I personally would not consider a sale "made" if the supposed buyer hadn't gotten back to me and had NO WAY to recieve the snake. From the OPs manner of posting and pushiness about getting a "local pickup only" animal shipped even when the seller said he didn't want to ship, he probably tried pressuring the seller into holding off on selling until he could find someone to go get the animal. What if he hadn't found someone to pick up the snake?

I don't think the negative BOI post was needed or warrented.
 
i always give a couple days or so buffer if i am selling/trading an animal. it doesnt bother me if i dont sell/trade to that person. again, me personally, i do not rely on snakes as a living or main means of survival. many people do, i understand that. if that is your business, then absolutely, you give to the buyer that can pay at that time and the best price the sale. as for my being a hobbiest, if someone seems legitimately interested in buying/trading an animal from me, i give the a little time, if nothing, i move on, but i never just go on to the next interested person just like that.
 
I wouldn't wait for someone to get back to me on if they want to buy something from me, but if they said Yes, they definitely wanted it, then I would give them a few days to let me know the money's on it's way.

I would NOT wait to hear if they wanted a snake. In that case I would sell to the first person who SAID they wanted it.
 
Messed Up

First off I want to thank Snake-Queen, Lucille and Focal X for letting me know bout this post.

This guy(bbacdok) is just mad that he didn't get the snake I was selling... I never agree on anything with this guy(bbacdok). All we talked bout was him trying to make me ship. And I made sure I put on the ad that I'm not shipping. So we never had a deal in place at all. Then a good man by the name of Mark(Mmcdowall3) sent me a pm saying that he lives in Brooklyn and that he's able to come the next day. I sold the snake to Mark for a great deal. You can ask him if you want. And I think its really messed up that he put this bad guy thread up cause he knows for dam sure that hes wrong and I never low ball him. If anyone has anything to tell me you can just send me an e-mail to [email protected] ill answer any questions you have. Thanks

After reading Luis's post, there's nothing more to say. Sounds like the OP was definitely wrong, and should not have gotten so upset. I pass up contacting people who have ads that say "local sales" cause I am not local to ANYONE!
 
I can't believe this guy made a bad guy post over this.
I feel really bad for the delivery person that ever delivers this guys pizza in 31 minutes.
 
overall about the bad guy post, it was very unwarranted and unjustified. everybody has their own ways to do either business or deal it has a hobby.

and, since the ad said, local sales, thats reason enough to pass on a non-local sale and sale to a local, since thats what was advertised

some people will wait for sales some, some people wont. im never in any big hurry to get that sale, so i dont mind allowing courtesy time for even people that say they are interested. i go in order of people that are interested, then eventually come to an agreement with somebody

but when all is said about this thread, never should have been posted
 
This kind of behavior tarnishes the image of medical professionals :( You would thing those would be the very people who would be flexible and understanding.

I actually expect professionalism. I believe that the Doctor, who has had years of education and works his own practice, should hold himself to a higher standard of behavior, should actually set the bar high, not throw a tantrum when he doesn't get his way and crawl under it. Shameful, just shameful.
