    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently recieved this female cb baby ball in a trade. Well, after looking at it a few times, I noticed that it has an unusual mark on it's side. There is a round brown spot, that does not follow the rest of the patter, and inside of that brown is a couple white spots. Could this be pied? If not, any ideas?? Maybe just a cool looking normal?? Let me know what you think. The pics came out a little blurry for some reason, but you should be able to make out the spots.
Thanks!

It's not a pied. The pie bald trait causes a disruption to the normal patterned areas as well and that is not seen on that snake. The rest of the snake is normal patterned.

Some people might consider it a ringer, but I don't know if I'd even go that far myself. I'd just say it's an odd, but almost certainly a non-inheritable marking.

I agree completely with Clay. Just a neat little normal....but if it interests you, you could use her for a "dinking around" project, and see if she produces anything unusual. I've got a little female with several similar spots, I had to keep her back just because I thought she was cool. ;)

Ok, that's pretty much what I was thinking. Some one else saw it and thought it could be. I didnt think it was though. I just wanted other's opinions. I think I am going to keep it and see what I can get out of it if anything. It has a few more markings like that, that just happens to be the biggest one.
Thanks for your help.

She is pretty, but most definately not a pied.

I wouldn't even call it a ringer, as the mark is not beginning at the base of the animal.

Still nice. I would keep her.
