Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I need Help and I need it Quick !!!!!!! As you know today it Easter. Well while out easter egg hunting my grand-daughter brought back a neat little present .........She found a Rabbit nest Now I have 5 Baby wild Rabbits about 4" in length and How do I keep them ALIVE I know nothing about Rabbits other then they eat my garden any help would be appreciated Thanks
 
Bill....I've raised baby rabbits from about that size. They are actually easier to care for than you would think, and they will start eating on their own fairly young. Somewhere I have the recipe for the home-made formula I used (more specific to rabbits and such, I will try to find it), but kitten milk replacer will work in a pinch. A small nurser bottle, and a warm, dark spot is all you really need. Feel free to PM me with any specific questions.....I'm going to go try to find that recipe, lol.

Hey Bill, good luck with them and Happy Easter! One summer we raised 22 baby rabbits that ranged in size from about 30 grams and up. The bigger ones like you found aren't that difficult like Cathy said. We fed them a mix of kitten milk replacer and bird hand-feeding forumula, but I'm sure Cathy's recipe would work if she says so! :) At that size, they can stay warm enough just by staying huddled together, so I wouldn't try "heating" them in any way. They can get dehydrated pretty quick it seems. If you don't want to finish raising them, you might want to call the local humane society. They may know someone in the area who has done it before. (That's how we ended up with so many.)
 
Hi paul Happy Easter to you and yours....I called my vet and she came and got them .....I don't really have the patience..All I could think was WHY ME..LOL
