    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK am I a bad guy?

The only thing I would have done different:

I would have put the "NO GUARANTEE" in writing.  As of now, it is your word against hers.  I definitely believe you though!!

I believe that technically you do not owe a refund on this snake since you did sell it "as is".   However, I also believe that no breeder should sell a reptile that they are unable to guarantee.  If the animals health or feeding is in doubt, then the breeder should hold the animal until it's status can be determined.
 
Brian i wouldn't worry about it, you did everything the way you should have. I do alot of shows with Dave Lawson and I wouldn't have done it any other way either. Don't let this lady push your buttons but next time put it on the bill as to what your selling <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

    After reading many posts with pretty much the same topic, I start to wonder if the animals really do die?  Or if they are looking for a sucker who will refund thier money on word of mouth.  I really do believe that many of these animals that people are claiming to have died are alive and well.
    In two words you summed it up Brian NO GUARANTEE!!!!!
Consider yourself on the right end of this deal.
