    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Look fellow leopard gecko breeders, I have an idea. Why don't we help Rich make this site a better place and just take over the forum, you know, the new "hot spot"? Who's with me?
 
Take the helm, Justyn. The leopard gecko forum is at your command. Why don't you set up a regular chat schedule? I may want to drop in myself from time to time.

No problem Rich, hopefully we can help mold this into one kick-a** forum. Hmmm....a chat sounds like a good idea, now we just got to figure out a time and some dates, maybe like a weekly or biweekly chat, or once a month thing??? Anyone have some ideas, Kelli, Robin, Monte, etc?????
 
I'm totaly in! Evenings are best for chats, and probably not Thurs. Fri. or Saturdays as that's when most people make plans (and Friends in on Thursday nights).

Tuesdays are good for most people...

Just announce it and we will come.
 
Count me in as well, super idea Justyn! We need a forum where we can discuss these wonderful geckos intelligently and openly.

A think a scheduled chat once a month would be fantastic, and I would certainly participate in these. Some chat topic ideas off the top of my head...

Keeping and Breeding Leopard Geckos
Color and Pattern Morphs
The Leopard Geckos Natural Habitat

etc etc etc.. there are a ton of things to talk about!

That would give everyone time to eat supper and clean up. We could do later like 9pm for those who have small children that need to get to bed. But I don't think we should go much later than that due to different time zones and all that jazz.

I think I can do that, but I have a confession... I have never participated in a chat before! I went in to one once, but there were just so many people on at the same time I couldn't keep up with the topic(s) and got intimidated. :(

OK, the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 Pacific Time... so where do I go? This sounds like it will be a great opportunity to talk with all of you! I value all of your experience, ideas and thoughts, and most of all the level of ethics you all seem to have. Just be gentle with me until I get the hang of it!!! :duck01:
 
Hmmm....now all we have to do is have a theme discussion. Kelli brought up some good topics, lets figure some of them out for the next 2-3 chats. Ok, throw your ideas out, and we can all grow form there.
 
Not a problem Monte, me and Kelli sort of talked about it a few days before, and I guess I beat her to it. Heck, didn't take much to get us over here and I'm sure within the next few weeks/ months more people will show up.
