We are expecting baby #4 and it's most definately a boy! My wife and I are found of unusual names and need help with this. We both really like the first name of Sawyer but are having a hard time coming up with a middle name that fits. We also both like Jackson as a first name but again, what middle name.

I still cannot convince her to go with Stone as a first name (by far and away my first choice) but for giggles, what would be a great middle name for that? Ideally, I am hoping I can come up with a middle name for Stone that will change her mind!

Suggestions?

Congratulations Bob!! And better you than me. My "baby" (the youngest of three) is 11 and life is oh so good.

I'm fond of presidential last names. I'm not sure that any go with Stone, but some favorites of mine include Jefferson, Buchanan, Grant, Wilson, and Pierce. Mind you, these are not my favorite presidents, just some names that I like. It's possible you can go down the list and find a different one that goes with Jackson, another presidential name that I like.

LOL... it just so happens that I was just doing something very similar the other night with some friends that are expecting. Here are a few that I can remember off the top of my head.

Everest, Boone, Kingston, Chaplin, Gunnar, Edison, Birch, Draylen, Cyrus, Bodhi (Bodee), Niko (Neeko)....

If anymore pop into my head I will add them.

I like Kingston, good strong name ^_^ Gunnar is my grandfathers name.

Also, Paul. i like that as a middle name!

Avery Or Adian
Jackson Avery Woodard / Jackson Adain Woodard

Stone Avery Woodard / Stone Adian Woodard

I like them

I like Jackson.......though around my area anyway, it is no longer an unusual name (there was a sudden surge of Jacksons and Jaxons about 4 years ago or so). I have a great nephew named Jaxon, lol.

I like some of the more "old-fashioned" names, that seem to be getting a bit of a resurgence lately, Gunnar being one of my favorites.

You're old. :p

LMAO, Jim....

"Just keep poking that bear with a stick" as my grandma used to say to me when I would say that EXACT same thing to her tongue in cheek. :D

Thanks Jim!! I had not thought about her in a long time. :)

How about...

My wife shot down all of my "unique" names, and settled on less frequently used ones at least.

First thing that came to mind was "Lane". Then when you said Stone, I thought of my baby boy, Mason. Stone Mason might be a little much though.

My favorite of all time that she wouldn't let me name my boys...

"Merlin"

Gabe
