Me:I didn't ask for any. But I realized i was practically giving her away which i'm sure you're away of. At 250 i'm still selling for the price of a hatchling.

This is the part I have a problem with, You told him he could have her for $200, and then changed the price. Very Bad Business...

To everyone here reading this and that has posted to this I'm over not getting the snake lol, the point I was trying to make was she was selling an animal at a certain price. Then when I contacted her about the animal, she basically gave me the ok for the animal and that we had a deal and I would of sent a deposit for the animal but she didn't ask for one.

Yes I did send her a few pm's and like 2 or 3 e-mail's cause she wasn't getting back to me about the deal or what was going on the. I was not rude but a little pissed lol! I did tell her I was going to leave feedback about all this I didn't say it was going to be bad but she knew I was going to cause of what was going on. I have all of mine and her tex's I wish I knew how I could get them to post on here so everyone could read...

And I did let her know I planed on coming to pick up the snake on wednesday, I think the reason she didn't get back to me was cause she was still trying to get more money for the snake like it was a auction when it wasn't...

Here is my e-mail I sent her.

Ok let shoot for Wednesday, Where we going to meet lol it's going to take me 2 1/2 hr to get to you in louisville But I need an address so I can map quest it to meet up. I saw the you bumped the price up to 300... I just wondered why when I'm already buying the snake lol?

This whole thread reeks of sour grapes. Sounds like Charles just wanted a cheap snake and it mad because he missed out. Big whoop. Until money is exchanged, Olivia can sell the snake to whoever she wants, change the price, whatever.....don't like it, don't buy it.

Some people just dont believe in a verbal agreement.

Unless I have has prior dealings with someone that says they want and animal I don't take anyone seriously until I have an email saying I have received payment. For the exact reason that I have had people not want to pay for shipping and want to pick it up then they never show or make excuses. After Olivia agreed she would give him the animal at the previous price the next reply should have been payment arrangements; would she hold it for COD or was payment required in advance? If you have been doing this for any amount of time eventually someone will take advantage of your generosity if you let them. After being burnt a few times deposits are always required if trust has not already been established and even then I have been burned.

Actually David, Your reply smells like rotten grapes.She agreed to sell it for one price, got offered more and then changed the deal. Is that the way you do business? Are you condoning this? Don't you want a deal on a snake. If a seller told you yes and then emailed later and said they changed their mind because they got offered more, you wouldn't complain? I think you would.

After that email, there is no need for pmt. she has sold it to him and he is coming to pick it up.

Several things come to mind here. First I don't give hoot about what you think of the BOI. If you do not like it, Move along. You must get mad a lot.

Second, Yes I can promise you that if I post something for sale, and someone says I'll take it, I consider it sold. Thst is called integrity. Something you evidently don't have a clue about! Integrity, Google it.

Back when I was selling reptiles, if I had a nickel for every time somebody said they were going to buy an animal from, were picking it up on x day, yadda, and they falked out...I would have a lot of nickels.

This type of thread seems to show up about weekly these days. There is never agreement on the exact moment a sale was agreed upon by both parties. One side of the observers leans towards 'customer service'; the other leans towards 'past experience'. ALMOST every time, there's no clear-cut right answer.....

If anything is to be learned, I believe specificity is called for. "The snake is yours if you place a deposit into my PayPal account within the next hour"...."Am I to understand that I have purchased the snake? Would you like a deposit to hold the animal for me until I pay you the full amount on xx/yy?"

Tomayto, tomahto. I can see (and could argue) both sides. And I bet we'll see another thread just like this within a week .

To the OP consider your self lucky if this is the Female spider 66% HET Hypo for 200.

That ad threw red flags the day i first saw it posted. I guarantee that spider was just a spider and at the weight advertised and price it was a Warning to anyone that knew what to look for. Not many people would sell a 600+g female spider for 200 let alone 250 when 2011 females are around 200 and to add in the het hypo. Unless you were desperate for money I dont see the tactic behind this when you have a bumblebee listed at 400.

I smell a fake het being tossed around.
