Many of you in the reptile community have heard of Joe George Dau's passing. His wife is desperately trying to recover Joe's investments. If anyone knows where Joe had snakes, or you have any, please let his wife know and return the animals:
...
"My name is Monica Jordan Dau. Many of you knew my husband Joe Dau, who passed away three weeks ago. Joe did not have any life insurance. I and our two children need your help collecting Joe’s animals so we can at least partially recover financially. Joe’s illness advanced very quickly. He did not leave any written record of where each of the Boas he owned may be located. Now that Joe is gone we really need to be able to recover as much as possible of Joe’s investments for our family. We looked forward to the day when we could all benefit from the money Joe invested over the years, but sadly that is not our reality. Now we are hoping to be able to recover some of the investment for our family.
He loved the Boa breeding hobby so much. I know he had many friends who might be able to help us. Joe spent literally as much money as we could afford investing in his Boas for many years. Joe was the Boa expert in our family. He would spend hours on the phone talking about Boas with his many Boa buddies. I must admit I never understood that, but he had that passion for them.
Mike DeBruce, who has been our friend for many years, has already let me know of several Boas he has that belong to Joe. I really appreciate Mike and his honesty. So far Mike DeBruce is the only person to come forward to let me know he will do the right thing. I am asking for all Joe’s friends to let me know where or with whom Joe placed any of his Boas or breeder loans. Thank you."
