• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Once bitten twice shy

These are my snakes. The first is Mocha. She had nice chocolate color when I first got her. Then she shed and it never came back. she is the one that got me. She is twice the size of my boy. Bu is the second one. ( my husband named him. If you cant tell my husband does not like snakes)

Looks like you got tagged pretty good, I got bit and clung onto by a 1700g mojo yesterday, he held on for about 5 minutes, but the bite is pretty much gone today. You may have a few teeth in you, is there any clear liquid or anything coming out of the holes where she bit you? If so it might be worth a quick doctors visit.

nothing coming out but if I look real close at it I can see some have a purple dot. That would be the blood under the skin. it seems to be doing better today. Its not as red and itchy. I think it maybe an allergy to her saliva. After reading that I did some digging and its something Im deff going to ask my doc next time I do. That was a good idea. I dont think there are teeth in there thankfully. I hate to think she lost any teeth over this. That has to hurt.

I would keep an eye on her mouth for the next month or so to make sure she doesn't have any swelling or anything along those lines. Loosing teeth can be pretty bad for snakes.

WHAT, WHAT, WHAT........did a woman just say I had a good idea. I think I need to make a screen shot of this my wall paper:D Usually all I hear is "you think your so funny!"

glad its getting better. That is a dragging of teeth, not just a bite. A bite will be four little red dots that you rub and they go away instantly. After an hour you don't know where they were. Until you know for sure, if you get bit again......tell the hubby to suck the poison out:rofl:
