    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

One Hatched!!! My very first one!!!!

I've been waiting my whole life for this! My 15 years of herp keeping I've dreamed of breeding and producing herps. This morning I checked the eggs and to my surprise this beautiful gecko was ready for the world! Temped sex female incubated 82-83 degrees constantly.

Hey Congrats!!

Thats a nice looking little Tang tremp! You have the bug now! LOL! Take care.

bug bit me long ago LOL So what do you guys use for feeding dishes for hatchings. I found some nice small clay dishs for water but I figure since they aren't glazed the meal worms will climb out.

cant help ya much there, i feed all mine only crickets till they are a bit older

what do you keep the crickets in? Just let them roam free and get eatten at will?

yea, just dump them in, make them hunt for there food.... there all gone by morning

what type of feeding dish

Although I have moved to almost exclusive use of Crickets. I have used glass ashtrays in the past. Most of the mealworms can't escape but you will get a few that do every now and then. Keep them meticulously clean and it cuts way down on escapies. When debris from either your gutload or their own chittin starts to accumulate on the sides of the glass ashtray it makes it much easier for them to climb the slick surface.

Congrats

i too have been waiting 14-15 years for my herps to even lay eggs, it's very exciting, i can only imagine how it feels to actually watch one hatch..amazing, and very nice little tang tremper ;)
