    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok this baby came from( mom-butter blood red double het, dad butter charcoal double het from chad fuchs.) I am unaware of the hets at this time. They threw the following- Anery, Butters, Normales. This baby was listed as an anery but looks nothing to the other anery which is pure grey/black/white. This baby has some really nice caramel coloring on the head and then on spots running down the back fading as they go down. The banding is very maroon in color with a carmel coloring in it as well. The body color is a very light shade of silver/grey. I tried to get the color to come out in the pics but it just would not go so here is the best pics I could get. It is not even close to the normales that came out either so I am a bit stumped with this one, any input would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Shanell,

Given the genetics of the parents about the only other possibility besides Normal and Anery B (Charcoal) would be a Caramel. Caramel hatchlings usually show white to straw yellow with brownish saddles. FWIW, since the clutch included Anery "B" hatchlings, we know that the mother has to be het Charcoal as well.

Of course a little more age and breeding trials will be the only way to determine the true genetics.

Thats what I was thinking, thanks. I have been out of the corn snake loop for a while now and am behind, learning all over again. I really appriciate the help.

A butter is double recessive for caramel and amel.
So it definitely could be a caramel.

Can be very hard to tell WHAT you have with corn snake hatchlings anymore with all the hets you can get in one snake!!
If it is indistinguishable...usually have to watch and see as it grows up!

It is a caramel

I saw some that they had listed as such at the show in Anaheim and it is definatly a caramel.

Thanks for the input it was greatly appriciated.
