Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just want to share some pics of this scarlet king I found on a herping trip this past weekend. I have never seen one like it and luckily I took some pics of it, because it got away. I wanted to keep this guy because of the way he looked but I make a rookie mistake and didnt tighten the bag good enough for a scarlet king. He escaped. Any way here are some pics of him. The red bands dont go all the way around him and his head is black, unlike most scarlet kings.

Still, what a lucky find! ;) I'm so glad that you got pictures first because he really is neat! Very cool! :D I love that pattern, the red parts are almost like side spots now! :eek:

Well he's still out there... gloating. Who knows, maybe you'll see him again~
