well if you think iv been "rode hard and put up wet" webslave think again... i actually only have one wrinkle... got it the day my mother died... its nice to know i have good genes because i still look very young... dad was carded til he was 33 and my mom at 57 when she passed away had maybe a handful of wrinkles on her face and a solid brown head of hair... no hair coloring... so when you guys are shrivling up like a raisin and going bald or greying... i will still look young woooohooo

See now, that's where you guys have it good....you can get gray and look "distinguished". Women get gray, and well.......we look OLD.


I had grays at the ripe old age of 21.....sigh. Dangit, where's that box of hair color???

If you decide to post in a manner that is contrary to the rules, yes you MAY get away with it. But if you do not, and someone else does get away with it, then is it not any sort of favoritism at all. It is simply the fact that you got caught and someone else did not.

That is about the only benefit of being boss here. I can sometimes look the other way if I feel that action is appropriate and fitting.

So is it favortiism??? sure but with a financial basis behind it. And since its his site I will post my thoughts and live with it.

thats niceeee... since the kansas city thread (a while back) the only points that i have gotten were from a participant in (not to mention friends with some of the active posters in that thread) that thread and moderator here on fauna... three seperate time he has given me points and only him since them... kinda ironic... he does not post or add anything to this comunity... no input no information helping out giving out info in threads and he doesnt even advertise here.... yet he does on other boards and sites..... rather odd... i knew after that thread (the KC one) he would have it "out for me" and even brought it up in a thread conerning the actions in that particular thread, in this mod was given a slap on the hand and in that thread webslave was participating. i have evenmailed rich about this, so yeah i guess he is turning a blind eye "selective enforcement" .... favoritism yup definately... it isnt anything new though been going on for some time now

I evaluated the situation, and I acted accordingly when requested. End of story as far as I am concerned. So put the horse back into the ground and get on with your life, please.

I don't know what you are expecting out of a website like this or someone like me who runs it, but if it, nor I, do not meet your expectations, then I am sorry, but you apparently stopped at the wrong watering hole. Just move along until you find what it is you are looking for, I guess. I can only do the best I can, and REALLY am not concerned about pleasing absolutely everyone in what I am doing.

Sure you can't please everyone, but cant you be fair accross the board without allowing personal motives to interfere with your decisions? Sure its your site and you can do what you want, but don't you feel compelled to treat everyone equally and fair?
Robin has done more for this site and you personally then any other member and she even understands that everything should be fair and equal if it is to be moraly and ethically correct.
Just to show you what kind of person she is let me tell you this. After I made the post about her deserving the warning point for her thread I expected her to be mad at me and maybe even retaliate against me,to my surprise she left me positive Rep points for looking at the situation from a neutral stand point and saying what I thought was fair. That just goes to show you she has a lot of integrety and is why she is a valued member here.Sure a lot of people get mad at her for butting in sometimes where she shouldnt but she reminds me of "Edith" on the Archie Bunker show, She always means well but sometime seems a little off course in how she does things, but deep down you know she didnt mean any harm.
You have built this site into something you and all the members can be proud of and even maybe ejoy it sometimes, not to mention save money by finding out about the scammers before we send them our hard earned money. Think about it and ponder what it is you want it to stand for, is it selective treatment? partial justice? or is it someplace that every one knows that we all have to abide by the rules and is fair and impartial to all people and businesses?

If Rich and the mods were to go over and enforce each and every thread there wouldn't be one member without warning points. Nobody comes to a complete stop at a stop sign unless there is a cop sitting there.

Rich knows i appreciate his site and what he has done for the reptile trade and he also knows I speak my mind and is more then capable of replying to my posts on his own. This is the way intellegent people work things out.

1) I will never, never, NEVER raise my hand against a person who has been so good to me, and a site that I cherish. Webslave works HARD for us, that we may have this place to enjoy.
